I'll be riding that area with another Spyder buddy the last week of May. I'll be riding from KC. Looking forward to the adventure.

Stay at Maggie Valley Inn. Not fancy but clean and a very nice owner. He will tell you all the great roads to ride. Has a nice bar/restaurant on site. Motorcycle friendly and covered parking for your bike.

We stayed at the Jonathan Creek Inn last year, was also really nice - at least for the short time there, rest of the time was busy RIDING!

I stayed there in June of 2015. Very highly rated hotel. Out of the 4 rooms that we had, 2 had bed bugs, 1 had ants, and the last one was fine. Not going to stay there again. I did happen to come across a celebrity who was passing through. I talked to him about how the local dealer was an a$$ and didn't let me take a F3 for a test ride. So this kind gentleman gave me the keys and said "take this one for a spin? That made the say a little more pleasant.
