LOVE your list and let me add two others that really give you your money's worth....The Stones (of course) and John Fogarty - he worked his a** off for the crowd! To paraphrase someone else on this site and add a twist of my own:
We might be getting old, but OUR generation had the COOLEST bands AND you could understand the words....
And thanks, Chuck Berry, for being the heart and soul of rock and roll - you influenced a generation of kids and garage bands everywhere! Where would The Beatles and The Rolling Stones be without you?!

King ( of " Stand by Me ", fame ) passed, I cried....and when Tammy Wynette ( Stand by your Man ) only 55 went OMG that was truly tragic She had that quirky little clip in Her voice that made Her distinct from everyone else ........ .
