Major redesign of the RT in 2019. Other than that, different color here and there. Tom

    • Controls to control bluetooth like on vehicles on the handlebars, accept calls, etc which will also appear on the display etc.
    • Tire pressure sensors
    • Backup and front parking sensors
    • Automatic slow down when getting too close to vehicles on road
    • Side mirror proximity warning sensors for blindspots
    • Heated seat and passenger seat
    • Other modes e.g. sport, rain/slick, safe
    • 5 year bumper to bumper warranty including oil changes
    • Turbo?????
    • Wider tires
    • Air bags
    • More ergonomics like the F3 foot adjustment etc.
    • LED lights all around
    • Remote start with convenience lights on ground when approaching at night
    • Auto bright for headlights
    • Get rid of the safety ECO hold before starting

I think we had too many whiskeys that night dreaming up all these options.....
So you really want to see a $60,000.00 Spyder????????

I'm sure your car is produced in a larger quantity and the dealer is installing those same options in other models. So the cost per item decreases.

Doesn't interest me but I think you will see a model that leans. I hope not all models as I will be looking at buying an F3 when current one is payed.

Maybe ... but there's a LOT of complicated suspension and support components that would have to be radically changed to make a leaning model, and the bike would need different tires as well. If they ever do come out with one of these models I'd wait 2 or 3 years before I jumped in.

However, the idea is really cool.

    Lightbulb Hybrid

While I think that the simple electronics upgrades that most of us add anyway would be a nice thing for BRP to listen to , they took 8 years to realize most people willing to pay $25,000+ for a trike want leg room (F3), or highway pegs or floorboards, that aftermarket engineers sell as an auto-upgrade.

I think that the most significant technical 'advancement' for the RT will be a Hybrid drive that would include the removal of the Frunk and actually give the bloody things some decent range, 400 miles plus for Touring. 120 miles might be a good time to get off and stretch your legs, but it is about what a Sportster gets. I currently get around 450 miles with my Prius and I have taken measurements and the entire drive train and battery pack would fit under the tupperware with minor re-routing of some harnesses and tubing and other incidentals.

    Just my 2 cents.

Other than a LEANER option i have not heard of any other changes. (and it may only be available on the F3 basic)
