I almost bought one myself. It was either that or the M&P Shield 9mm. But I got a better deal on the Shield. Congrats on the new pee shooter. I might have to buy one down the road.

I purchased a White Rhino last week. Have not had a chance to fire it yet. Awesome gun. I don't know why people say it is UGLY! But I guess 'To each his own'.

XDS is a great pistol. I have the same one in .45. Very concealable when used with a 'in the pants' holster.

Fires from the bottom of the cylinder instead of from the top. Virtually no muzzle flip. 357 Mag.

I for some reason cant get comfortable with an IWB holster, wish I could. I really wish I could appendix carry but to much gut for that also. I have been looking for a holster to carry my new Shield at the 1530-1600 position. Which holsters do you use for the XDs?

I carry my .45 in a Galco S.O.B. (Small Of the Back) holster...
it's easy to forget that it's there, and almost any shirt with a decent length to it, will cover it completely.

Default I was wondering if talking about guns...

...was allowed, permitted, taboo, "sure - go ahead," nope, etc. on the site. Now I know. I have no opinion about them being discussed one way or the other... just curious.

I have been looking at thos as well. Can you move them to one side a little, like say at the 5 oclock? The reason I say that is that I have a torn rotator cuff and reaching to the 6 oclock position isnt possible. But 5 or 4 would be.

I will pull it around to the side a bit...
I put the center rear belt loop on my pants in-between the loops that hold the holster to the belt.
It gives me a couple of inches of adjustment, yet still holds the rig tight up against me!
But I don't see why you couldn't mount it to either side of the center loop.

i have been wanting to get another pistol for a long time. but here in new york city, they make it very difficult. now i need to get the ok to sell a pistol, and i also need a purchase order b4 i can buy a new one. i wanted to get the S&W judge, but because it fires 3 different rounds, the city told me NO. then 5 years ago i was ready to buy another pistol, and when i was approved to sell one, and buy another, and i don't remember what one i wanted, my mom had her first stroke. when i asked for a extension on the approval, they only give you 30 days, they said NO again, so i let it expire to take care of mom.

they also made it that if you get approved, you need to go down to 1 police plaza to pick it up, and you have 24 hours after you buy the new gun, to bring it back into the city for inspection. so it is just not worth going through all that bull just to get another one

I use an IWB for both my Colt Detective Special and my XDS .45 from http://aliengearholsters.com . They really fit differently than other IWB's. The whole gun is covered so none of it digs into your side.

    They also make outside holsters.

I carry my .40 shield in a Galko King Tuck in the 5 o'clock position. I've tried IWB appendix, and Im ok as long as I don't sit. .

I will get a picture soon. Springfield has a great special going on right now. $180.00 of free gear. I will be getting 2, standard mags and 2 extended mags. Also I will get a holster and a magazine holder that holds 2 mags. Not sure on a speed loader. I paid $445.00 out the door for it. Bruce

If you were from Canada you would not have to make all those decisions. It would be NO, NOT, NUN, and look at all the money you would save to spend on your Spyder LOL.<br>Roger
