Coolant Puddle
2013 Spyder RT stored for the winter.
Spyder was trailered to get a laser alignment and then trailered to get a service. I only ran the Spyder to get it on and off the trailer.
Brought it home from service on the trailer. Spent today putting on a phone holder and Lamonster NBV Pegs.
Found a puddle of antifreeze under the spyder upon completion of my farkles. Wiped up the puddle and can see after wiping it up it is still dripping from somewhere.
Is it uncommon to have a little leakage after a service? I have never had an issue with a leak after a service but I always rode it to and from.

They shouldn't have had to move any coolant items for alignment but they may have checked your fluids & topped you off & spilled some in process You dont mention starting & running your bike to see if there is. A flowing problem., try getting it up to good temp when fans turn on & see if drip turns to spray

Yes. I have not started it. I will try that now. I know they checked all fluids when serviced which was at a dealer. Guess I will see what happens. I will report back.
Pretty proud of how my farkles came out. I am not a real mechanical person

I believe the fan cycled no less than 6-7 times and did not see anything spraying. I did find smaller drips towards the front right which was different from where it was dripping earlier.
Spyder is off now and Going back to check in about 20 minutes and see if there are any new drips.

If somebody else may have checked to coolant, it might serve you well to check the Overflow Container lid (that radiator cap type thingie under the front right corner of the frunk) is on properly!! They aren't the easiest to get a good grip on, & someone who doesn't care as much as you do may have just whacked it on any old way, possibly leaving it with only one side caught, or the catches 'cross threaded' a bit... if that's the case, coolant puddles underneath will result! Worth a check!

Check the bottom hose on right side next to engine. Mine started leaking there after service . had to replace the squeeze clamp on that hose with a screw clamp.

While you have Tupperware off to check the bottom hose, check the hose that runs from the bottom of the coolant tank to the top of the water pump. On most 998's it seems to be the only place there's a factory screw clamp on the coolant system rather than a crimp clamp. On a lot of bikes, it seems to work it's way loose, allowing a drip to run down the water pump. If so, tighten that clamp.

There you go....
all the above mentioned places could also check around the water pump. if they did check the most common is not putting the resivoir raidiator cap on correctly to the second detent. and could just be a spill while tpping off the tank...

I had the same issue on a 2014 ST-S. easy fix too
Just sayin'............
Three in the garage, and I think I can fit at least one more in.....and then we will have to build another garage.
The roads in NY are so bad that I am glad we bought a Ryker Rally
