Default A DELIVARY FROM - UPS BEFORE THE STORM

About a month or so ago JVB ( a member ) did an excellent review and write up about a pair of hard case side bags He bought ..." Mutazu brand "... I was very impressed with what He had to say and the way He said it. So much so that I decide to buy a set. Luckily E-bay notified me that they went on sale again ( at the price He paid ). I received them to-day ..... Jim wasn't kidding for less than $300.00 these are high quality OEM looking Hard Case bags with nice attachment hardware.......... I plan to follow His lead and paint the Trim Covers on mine " Cognac " like I did with Dee's dash surround ....... Soooooooooo thanks Jim for the find and your re-port .... PS, they really are hugh inside 37 Liters each, more than enough for a large full face helmet.. Mike

    Hi Mike,

When I bought my used ST , they left the BRP brackets for the BRP bags, but with no bags. Would these bags fit on the brackets I have?

    Thanks again,

    Richard

I don't think you can get the bags without the INCLUDED brackets ....you could contact the seller listed for " Mutazu " @ E-Bay .......... or get these and sell yours ............ Mike

.... Well Ann & Chewey they are going on my 2011 RSS that I still have ...... JVB put His on His wife's ST, but they are a universal fit and I believe the Frames are identical anyway, even if the body panels aren't exactly identical ....... Mike

I also liked his pic's and story about the bags, I also purchased two set of them for my STS's and they went on very well. I also used the round stock for the mounts which turned out nice. I can add pic's when I get mine painted, just received the paint. Nice to have you that show pic's of their project's on this site.

    Default F3 ???

E-bay info says they work on an F3.

Can anyone with an F3 confirm they fit, and post a picture.

    Thanks, Ken

Ken good question .... First I would look at the pics on E-bay ( # is listed in post above ) ..... Get in touch with Jim Von Baden, since He has already mounted a set .... my main concern would be the F-3 muffler. The frames from 08 to 17 are almost the same ........ Mike

    You would need:
    Givi V35 Monokey cases

    Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
    Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
    Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
    Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!

Those (231854436544 on ebay) look pretty good and have built-in lights. For $300 I probably would give them a try although I doubt the build quality is as good as the Italian made GIVI bags. Not sure I like the bracket going across the back, but something else could be done there I'm sure.

    Good find for $300 !
