Need trailer wiring info

Have a new 2017 F-3 Limited with trailer hitch and plug. F-3 has 4 wire square plug, my trailer is a five wire Aluma trailer. How do I convert from 4 wire to 5 wire?, HELP

So first is your trailer truly a 5 wire? Amber turn signal lights. If so you have a couple options.

1. Rewire your trailer to 4 wire. You do that by abandoning the amber turn signal lights. Splitting the brake lights into left and right circuits. That will become combined brake/left turn and brake/right turn lights.

2. You can purchase a 2 to 3 converter. That will split the combined brake/turn wires from into separate brake, turn signal wires. Then either wire that into your trailer or custom build an adapter to go between you Spyder and trailer.

4 square vehicle side to 5 round trailer side adapter. I am fresh on the subject because I am thinking about an aluma also.
