    Default Changing front tires

While I am doing my rebuild on my 2009 RS, I have been reading about different tires for the front, and was thinking of these that several peeps have said was a good alternative for the stock tires.

Any comments if they will fit and be good for handling and wear, will be appreciated. Thanks.

I am running them on my RT, I have 15" rims and they are in the OEM size. They were a definite improvement in handling from the Kendas and even the Federal Evo.

Spyderyderjim and Trikemutha also are running the Formozas on RTs. Jim is the one who told me about them and both of them agree that cornering and handling is improved with them.

Thanks for the information. The ones that I am looking at are $133.95 with free shipping on Ebay for 2 of them. Don't think I will find a better price than that.

    Default UNI

ONE piece of advise: stay with UNI-DIRECTIONAL tires, you can't go wrong...

    Default unidirectional tires

I am not sure what unidirectional tires are, but am hoping the ones I am looking at are unidirectional.

That term just refers to a tire that is designed to perform best, when being spun in just one direction only...
It probably is more due to how they design the tread to shed water; than anything else.
Take a look at the front tires on your Spyder: they are unidirectional...
