My Spyder Flap works well and reduces a lot of dirt on the rear of the . I added a red reflector to it from my old Suzuki for a bit more visibility.

I made my own from a piece of the plastic floor runner that is under my office chair. Painted it with some flat black paint that I had in the garage, and it looks factory made. Probably got $3.00 worth of stainless steel hardware to attach it. My first diys farkle.

I stopped by a body shop I used to work at and bummed an old mudflap off of a truck. trimmed it up and mounted it with stainless hardware. doesn't look to bad and it is functional.

You can make it yourself by buying a truck mudflap at one of the popular auto parts stores. It's heavy duty and easy to make. Here's the one I made:

DYI mud flap...
I used a piece of a black plastic bucket to fabricate one for the wife's RT. Been on 2 years and counting...easy, breezy, cheapie !
Use a heat gun to shape accordingly if needed.

Hey Neighbor!
If you have a trailer hitch or think you may one day get a trailer hitch I'd suggest this from Spyder Pops http://spyderpops.com/rt-trailer-spl...k-guard-plate/
Keeps the passenger dryer than the mud flap.

Twelve bucks for two flaps from Amazon..
and five dollars worth of stainless hardware from Lowes. Nice heavy material, looks good and I have another flap if this one bites the dust.
