I'll head over to it a bit later this morning, and see if you have the new roller kit listed...

EDIT: It looks great, and I've put in my order!

    Doc,

Just one question / thought. Is there a reason that you don't have any prices on the website? It's kind of annoying for the casual / first time browser of your products to have to exit your site and log in to PayPal just to find out what something costs.

I kind of wondered about listing prices also...
But then I thought: "If you have to ask; you probably can't afford it!"

(Seriously: please add some pricing info, when you get the chance. )

Yes on prices if possible. I went to some local sites yesterday browsing motorcycles. Those that said "call for price" got dumped in a hurry.

    Hi Doc,
I was just watching the video that you have on your website that shows how to install the vibration damper on your 2014 RT...
    I have two Questions:
    1. This video was filmed in November: any changes for your complete kit?
    2. You include a stud that is used to keep things located properly. What size bolt would I use to replace it?
(I'd rather have something that I can put a wrench on...
    Thanks!

Bob Denman, double nut the stud and "put a wrench on it" safe riding!

    1. We have actually made a change. Instead of 2 brackets, we are now using one complete bracket instead. Basically, it attaches the same way, but you do not have to attach the bar since it is built into the length. The 2 bolts you remove will be discarded. The 2 holes that mount to the byke are slotted for adjustment. You still need the small shim below that. Full written instructions will be included and we probably will eventually shoot a video of the change at some point.
    2. The threads are M8 1.25, however you cannot use a bolt because the shim and bracket have to fit through. If you were to find an internal hex bolt or one with a smaller head so that the parts could slip on over it you could do so. The most practical thing to do for us was to take a bolt and cut the head off, making a stud. I don't think we will have to be going back into this until the pulley wears out, if ever. Wait until you see the video on how the pulley is put together. It will blow your mind the way it came together.

I forgot about having to slide the bracket down over it...

Does this mean if you order kit no #2 for those that already have your adapter kit for the RT, it will come with the new bracket (the complete bracket built into the length instead)
Therefore the bar would not be required you would just use the the small shim and to 2 longer bolts
This should make installation easier and possibly quicker

I know that you're a whole lot smarter than me about these things...
I'm the kind of person who'd use a bolt: realize the mistake, and then grind the head off of it...

...Then I'd worry about how I would have to remove it!

    .
If you have the adapter already, you would need to order kit #2. It will come with the shorter bracket that can either bolt up to the F3 or the RT with the adapter. The only ones that are getting the longer bracket are kit #3. That way, everyone has the best of both worlds, either with the adapter or not.

We basically did this to have less bolts and nuts involved and making it easier to install. It will apply to new installs for kit #3 only. As I said, if you already have the RTBK adapter, and need the rest of the kit from us, you need a kit #2. If you are upgrading from the BRP unit, you just need the arm and pulley (kit #1) , as everything else will be reused.

I know this is a little confusing, but this is the best way to do this and many, many hours were put in figuring out the best way to accomplish everything for all the different possibilities.

I don't think we will need any more changes, but if something comes along that will make a better product, we will do so. One thing we ARE working on is a different type pulley option for the '13 and under RT's with the ribbed belt. Even though that little whine is barely noticable, I would like to remove it if possible. Another possible addition is an application for the RS and St.
