Wtb - older GoPro

Am thinking about getting a GoPro, but not sure if I'd use one all that much. So I thought I'd see if someone had an older one they wanted to sell and I'll try it out before investing in a new one.

As an alternative... I'm using one of these and the quality is as good or better then my buddies GoPro 3. If your a iPad guy try the geek.com app and there's lots of options in the $30-75 dollar range.... Comes with a slew of mounts and adapters...

I had a GoPro and it was very difficult to use. You might not want to get an old one

Thanks for for link this will help as I got few older devices I could use for just that. The other 1 i like is the Garmin Virb that adds GPS info to the vid (speed, altitude) is a growing market with more to come

We were having a discussion in another thread about GoPro mounting and the best location for capturing the thrill and beauty of the particular ride.... After trying a few different mount locations (handlebars, body frame pts, and body mount) I finally settled on a helmet mount which I'm still refining but seems to give me some really good rider perspective video. Good luck and ride safe brother !

Thanks for the pics and info Charles. I'm going to hold off for now and do some more homework on what features and functions I want. Will hopefully get something in the spring.

Good deal for someone though that is ready to pull the trigger
