    water is the most powerful thing on earth, when i had my 21 ft. boat with a 200 hp evenrude on the back, some day going out the jones beach inlet, with a incoming tide, i would have to go full throttle just to beat the incoming water

    Just makes you wonder.....what were they thinking.. where was the pilot.. guess there are no clearance markers nor do they know how tall/wide their boats are. As for trucks and bridges....saw way too many while living in Connecticut...

    The wind and current can make bridge approaches interesting, add
    a mechanical problem and the pucker factor goes red.
