    We are also "normalized." It did help to have a smaller crowd this year though.

    I always have Christmas at one of my kid's houses. So except for my tree they are the ones with the mess to clean up.
    My tree is easy to do, take the ornaments off and put them in a box, then the tree is prelit so you take it apart and put it in another box. The 2 boxes then get shoved in a closet until next year. Easy Peasy.

    Yes, but with my crew there is never much left over. I did take home 3/4 of a pumpkin pie, so I got some of the important leftovers.

    Now we mostly do gift cards and cash. But when my older niece and nephew were little we'd have paper and cardboard knee-deep in the living-room. Some went into the fireplace and some got carried outside. One year a small piece of a toy accidentally got trashed and everyone was more careful after that.
