I want considered a new windshield but after watching, I may like to have the largest one with the vent. I do not like the back pressure and my wife complains of the buffeting. My only concern is that the MPG may take a bit of a hit with more front surface

For the rider and co rider the Plus 3 or 28" is the Best for sure. The vent also reduces the back pressure making for a much better ride and give you the air when you want it and cuts it off when you don't.
As to the MPG we have not experienced any change with our RT.
There is a 15% off sale with $25.00 shipping until Dec. 31st so this might be a great time to purchase.

This is the first F4 Windshield I bought for my Spyder.
Great protection from wind & rain and I didn't notice any decrease in MPG.

    Default F-4 WINDSHIELD

I got the tall + wide with a vent about a year ago, I would never go back to the stock windshield, couple this with the Baker built wind wings and It Is the best combination In the rain or just keeping the excessive air off of you..

The only downside I've encountered with my F4 tall and wide is also one of its primary upsides, wind deflection. The width of it does a great job of deflecting the wind but in really hot weather I can't get as much wind blowing on me as I would like. While talking to the F4 folks at Wind Ding last fall they mentioned if a person rides solo most all the time, like I do, and wants to have air blowing on them, then the wide may not be the best choice. We discussed sending my windshield to the factory to have it cut down to standard width.

    Default New Windshield

I grabbed the Tall+Wide during the November sale. It made a great deal of difference for me. Don was a great to deal with too!

The installation was extra easy too.

The one I have a +4 width, -4 height, tinted, and vented. I love it. It worked great for the summer, but we will see what happens for the winter. Going on a ride Wednesday with temps being around 35. If it doesn't work well enough, I have a +4 width, stock height that I may install.

Default Just Instralled New F4 Windshield

I just installed a new F4 Custom Wide and Tall windshield which took about 20 minutes. I went for a ride on I 10 by Phoenix Arizona with my new picture window in front of me. The windshield is clear and quiet.
