I have a 2014 RTSS form CowtownUSA in Cuba, MO. I just turned 17K mi.
Spyder has been great, dealer even better.
One of the best decisions I ever made.
Just got back fom another great SPYDERPALOOZA in Farmington, MO. Sherri Pratt did a great job as usual.
Save the date for next year. September 12-14, 2019
Lamonster Black Diamond Detailer works great on the Jeep, also.
I use Blue Coral wash/wax.
My dealer, CowtownUSA in Cuba, MO charges $150 for the complete annual/ 9300 mi. service.
Your dealer may have a much higher labor cost.
I had them installed and they are well worth the cost. Use for cooling in hot weather, help keep warm in cool weather and help keep dry in light rain.
I had an issue once that the oil plug seal got damaged and caused a leak. New seal and no additional problems.
My only thought is that seafoam may be a problem. It is not needed if you use proper fuel.
It’s not a kickback, it is called margin. Dealers need that to stay in business.
You can buy a 25 pin to lightning adapter. Make sure it is “charge and sync”, some of the cheaper ones will only charge.
Sorry to hear about your set-back. I also had a retina detachment in 2016. It was one of the scariest days of my life. All mostly back to normal, now.
Merry Christmas to you, also.
And a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Roger.
We all remember your contributions to the Spyder community.
I have Progressive, full coverage, $1K deductible <$350/yr.
I have a Gear Brake unit that flashes brakes when you slow down. It also flashes when you step on the brakes.
I don't supply anything. I agree with your comment about "goodwill" In essence you are insulting the dealer by implying that he is charging too much for the oil.
Mine have been included in my original purchase so far. I asked what the cost would be when I pay for it and they said about $150, which is what was on the invoice they gave me, then zeroed it out.
I won a set at SpyderJam. I love the extra additional view.
Go to brpmanuals.com
Manuals are pdf and you can print the pages you need and the manual stays "clean".
See if GearBrake has an F3 solution. I have it on my 2014 RT. Flashes tail lights when slowing down (counterbalance in the switch). It was plug and play for my RT
I won a set at Spyder Jam and put them on as soon as I got home. They fit right over the existing mirrors. Provide a lot better view of what's behind and beside you.
I like them.
Check out Cycle Gear, either at a local store or on line. They have a great selection and the one I have is great.
Some of their new ones even have the Sena unit. They come with all the speakers...
I am a big fan of Cowtown USA. Not only will they give you a fair price, they also are fair on service costs. I bought my 2014 RT there and they have been great even after the sale.
We all decide how we want to spend our money. Some have more, some have less. If you cannot afford it, don't buy one.
My kids don't need me to send them to college. They work and pay their own...
Cycle Gear is a good place.
$150 from my dealer for "annual service". Oil change and check of all of the things listed in the owners manual. This is a 2014 RT. I understand units with the 998 engine may cost more for oil...
I bought my 1st one at 63. Now 66 and I know lots of riders older than I am.

I have your wide view mirrors (won at Spyder Jam).
It is always great to meet up with Spyder friends. I am looking forward to next year.
