Another enabled rider here! Just last week, I had someone leave a note on my spyder about what I didn't understand about parking in a handicap spot. If I could have found them, I would have asked...
That happened to me on the first ryde last year, only the state trooper gave me a ticket (70 in a 55 zone)
I traded my 2013 ST for a 2014 RT-S on Thursday, it's metallic black and oh so pretty! I really like the difference between the trikes, especially the cruise control on the RT.
Look on Amazon for Drinks2go (mounts on passenger grab rails) or Spyder2go (mounts on handlebars). The Spyder2go costs less than $15 and works great.
Success! I was having the most trouble putting back on the cover under the tailpiece (right over the back tire) I took it back off and enlarged the holes where the lower bracket for the saddlebags...
Recently I came up with some extra money, so I thought I'd spend it on my ST. Ordered a set of Can Am rigid saddlebags, and thought I'd take everything down to the local bike shop and have them...
Cutting off that piece worked great! I did it yesterday, and took the ST out for a 20+ mile run. No increase on engine temp, and my right foot didn't cook from heat exhausting out of the radiator...
I had Lamonster's highway pegs installed on my 2013 ST at Spyderfest. Is there any way to adjust them so my foot is out of the way of the vent on the right side?
What an amazing guy! I met him at Spyderfest, after reading about him in the American Legion magazine. (We're both American Legion Riders)
I am hoping I can get some good stuff for my ST at Spyderfest! I'm really interested in Lamonster's highway pegs.
What mods and accessories are available for Spyder STs? I have a 2013 ST and am especially interested in highway pegs or foot boards.
No, no work on the spyder recently. I just took it on a brief run when the weather warmed up enough to take a ride. I start the thing up, oops shows no gas in tank when I knew I still had 3/4s of a...
I went to Sturgis in '12, on my spyder, had a good time. Then I realized I drove a 1000 miles there and back to buy some t-shirts :ani29:
Sorry, it is a 2013 ST with a digital display.
I had the fuel gauge of my instrument cluster go out, doesn't show fuel level and gas pump symbol is on, indicating fuel is low when tank is full. Would this be a problem with a sensor?
I'll be there! :f_spider:
WILL THIS CUPHOLDER FIT ON A 2013 ST? Sorry for shouting, did not get an answer the last time I asked. No reply to email I sent either.
ok, thanks!. Flaminobabe, that website didn't show any pic of a ST with the cupholder mounted, plus the price was different at different places on the site, kind of made me wonder. :f_spider:
I am trying to find two things: highway pegs and brackets, also a cupholder that will fit on a 2013 ST.
Will the cupholder fit on a ST?
So I should just use the Thermo-tec heat shield and not bother wrapping the exhaust pipes? Also, does anyone have a picture of the splash guards? Couldn't understand what part was being talked...
I know they aren't really a cruise control, but they let me let go of the throttle for a short time.
Thanks for the info, but the links to the forum you posted are from 2008.
I have the plain ST, not the ST-S or ST-L, no cruise control.
Will mechanical cruise controls from either Throttlemeister or Kuryagan (how do you spell that?) work on a 2013 ST?
This is what I came up with for the keys with no way to put them on a key ring:
68192
It involved the key, a vacuum cleaner belt cut to size, and superglue.
Thanks!
I bought a 2013 ST at Spyderfest. Is the seat supposed to be waterproof? It seems to me like it isn't.
