I've stripped 3 front sprockets on my 08 Spyder , Brp made the center of the front gear softer ; so it strips out before transferring the energy inside the crankcase to the transmission gears :sour:...

I finally got a call from my dealership after letting it sit outside for 6 weeks; that they have finally took the time to actually look at my Spyder and found that the ECM has gone bad . they ordered...

I have an 08 RS , doing the same as yours...I slow down to stop at a stop sign or a traffic light and the bike shuts off...its shut down while upshifting into 3rd gear too! have you got yours...

I stripped the center out of a front sprocket 2 years ago ... stripped it clean like it had been drilled , this time (2nd) time replacing it , BRP has an updated (better) design for the front...

I'm still wanting a seperate hand brake for the front only ... totally seperate from the VSS controlled ABS ... a fellow owner in Ky. did it with ATV parts and it looked like it worked out well ... I...

and it was a F150 !!!

I would have wanted...a shorter swingarm / wheelbase (tighten the turning radius)...all the HP the engine is capable of producing (147)...a selectable VSS (low-mid-high),without IT a larger engine or...

I just installed 2010 RT shocks on mine and :agree: 1 of the best mods for the $$$

I have the RT shocks set on 3 ... I wanted to swap springs on the rear but no dice ... the RT rear shock is 1...

I have the Falken Ziex 512's on front and a Nexen N2000 on the rear ... much better performance than stock

still rolling on # 90 ... faster than ever :thumbup:
