Ran the engine for about 40 minutes this morning. Idle stayed steady, no stalling and no codes were present. Hoping the disconnected vacuum hose was the issue. Yes, zip ties may be a good idea.

I'll recheck for the codes tomorrow. Was getting late and the cats had to be fed and I needed a beer, etc.
The silicone tubing was supposedly the proper diameter sent to me by another member here...
Added some HEET and Seafoam to the tank this morning. Battery terminals checked for tightness and security.
Pulled the left side panels off later today. Found the silicone vacuum hose to the rear...
Had a beautiful day to go riding, so off I went.
Stopped for gas about 30 miles away from home. The bike ran perfectly until about the last ten miles. Then, it felt like it was trying to shift...
I had two vacuum hoses that looked fine, However, they literally fell off when I touched them because they were so loose on the nipple fittings.
Yes. One of the relays got damaged.

Hit 75K today.

2014 ST-S.
Today I started the bike and did my "pre-flight" inspection and discovered that the high beam headlights would not come on when hitting the switch to either the high beam or flash...
On my third set now due to sporadic failures.
Hit 70K yesterday.

Odd you should mention that point. Pulled the cover off and found condensation droplets inside. Furthermore, the main relay marked headlamps had corrosion on its bottom contacts. I also noticed that...
Never heard of the fuse block service bulletin.
When I first discovered the high beam malfunction this morning, I pulled both the high beam relay and fuse to check for any terminal damage or...
I feel an unfortunate visit to the stealership pending.
Today, in addition to the odd shifting issue, I discovered that the high beam function ceased to operate correctly. When I pushed the switch...
Yes. Bike is stopped. Foot on brake. Parking brake set. Pullback of paddle shifter to set it into neutral, which it has always done for the past 5 and a half years. Just now, it is very sporadic that...
Specifically, down-shifting from first to neutral.
During my last two rides, I stopped for gas and put my foot on the brake, set the parking brake, then attempted to downshift from first to...
Well, I seem to have got things running again today. May have been the load shedding relay in the right fuse box. I was re-checking all fuses and relays and found that one slightly "not fully...
I have recently been having issues with the fog/driving lite option in which they sometimes turn on with the switch and more often, they do not unless I cycle the switch several times.
So, I...
On my third set on all four positions. Back to reflectors only if these start going.
All of my original set have since misbehaved to varying degrees. I was sent some replacements once and three out of four have also gone south. I was able to purchase replacements at $15 a set and so...
Well, yesterday’s balance did the trick. Was able to hit 101mph (GPS) today and all was good.
Trouble balancing Vredsteins. Anyone else had this problem? My bike shop in VA did a static balance before I left for FL. Got down here for a first ride and had bad shaking above 45. Went out and got...
Never know what is going to happen with the IRS. Last year, my father filed his by mail, and since he owed them a small amount, included his payment check with it.
Around September, he received a...
Finally had Vredestein tires mounted on the front. The old Federals had over 50K on them but we’re getting a little worn out, even tho there was still a lot of tread remaining. 195212195213
Thank you, Sir. I’ll check on that size a bit.
Having a difficult time searching online for new front tires. Seems either no one has them or never did.
How far can I go either up or down with the 165 or 55 number and find something close?
Got the bike back today.
One of the hose clamps on the black connector piece by the cylinder heads turned out to be loose, so coolant was slowing dripping out and running down the right side of...
Yes, I took a bunch of pics and printed them and handed them to the service advisor who gladly accepted them to put in the file.
Dropped it off today so it is not my problem anymore.
Haha - I can only hope!
I am kind of suspecting something is going on with that black connector part as you can see in the center of the picture the bright green "drop" which looks like it dribbled down from higher up (pic...
