Maybe I'm missing something here but I would think doing over the posted speed in a "School" zone one would expect whatever penalty was issued ???

Hi BikerDoc
I recently had a rear suspension compressor burn out (my RT was still under warranty) and my preferred dealer was good with replacing it under warranty but BRP (in Australia) wouldn't...
Interesting re the conflicting results for indicated error After checking Spyder Codes (believe I have the lastest version) I found the following results.
P0122 - (ECM) Engine Control Module...
My guess (from my own experience) is that the compressor is burnt out from constantly running. In my case this was caused by the plastic one way valve (why plastic BRP ??) in the system. Replacing...
On the subject of air bag compressors. Mine has now basically burnt out.
Possible cause of this maybe the BRP (crappy plastic) one way valve has broken thus causing the compressor to run almost...
Another item that may have been missed in this discussion is that the Spyder Sisters unit not only covers the seat but ALL control switches. Seems if people don't actually sit on your Spyder they...
Just an item worth checking if you don't have the caps on your stub axles. "Ensure" wires and brake lines are securely fastened so as to not catch on the stub axle when they're rotating.

Just a crappy plastic cap that covers the stub axle. There are options that work better but most likely cheapest option is to get a new OEM unit and apply a little stylistic to hold it a little more...
Had mine replaced under warranty but as that expires soon guess if it fails again it will be on me and I "most certainly" won't be replacing it with an OEM unit.

Find it amazing just how many people want their RT's to look just like my 2013 RT. 😉

Check out Lamonster's garage. Has some awesome billet inserts plus also has billet covers for the stub Axle to replace those crappy plastic things that always fall off.

I had the OEM Adjustable Air Deflectors and was given a workshop credit for exactly what they cost me.
Certainly no complaints from me on that deal but you have to ask for the rebate as it sure...
I'll preface the following statement by saying I love my RT even more now since having the update done and I think the new vents look great.
I truly believe BRP have hit a home run in rectifying...
To cold now but shall check mine out in the morning. Many thanks for your replies

Have noticed since doing cat bypass on my RT it will now start without touching the brake pedal.
I've checked the brake pedal travel under the RT and there is nothing anywhere near...
Always used to ride with an open face helmet until one day arrived at a scene of an accident that had just occurred where a motorcyclist travelling at speed (in outback Australia) was rearend by an...
Many thanks Roger. Your time and effort is certainly appreciated by this Spyder owner as have had cause to use it a couple of times while unexpectedly stopped in the middle of nowhere.
Cool 😎
Hi Dan
Found something on my RT yesterday while trying to figure out what was causing the lower RH side panel (next to my ankle) to buckle.
I finally decided to drop the catalytic converter...
Hi Wavey. Love my 2013 RT especially now the "heat issue" is sorted as far as I'm concerned.
You asked about "farkles" - obviously no end of what can be done but the one single item that I added...
Using a standard Dyno.
If you remove the speed sensor by the back brake that picks up the slotted part of the brake rotor which indicates the Spyder is moving the computer is made to think the...
My results after having the modifications recommended by BRP to address the "Heat Issues" being experienced in the CanAm 2013 RT.
The results I have found pre and post "BRP's 2013 RT Heat Fix" on my...
Incredible.
Oh the joys of owning a black 2013 RT. The new implants blend in beautifully.
Forgot to add once a gauge is disconnected "both" gauges stop working.
You must have a different wiring system in the States if you need to disconnect both gauges to allow the fuel and temp digital indicators to show.
Every RT I've had anything to do with or discussed...
