Regarding cargo carrying, Can-Am also offer a single hard-side bag (pannier) which could be handy. IIRC it's about 36L capacity?

I had a 1963 Dodge dart and confirm the left-hand threads on left-side hubs. I had a tire-shop mechanic tell me that my wheel studs were frozen up and if he tried any harder they would break. I told...
Changing the mass of the bars (with weights) changes the resonant frequency to something more pleasant. It's been a thing on motorcycles for a long time. Many motorcycles have them as original...
Purveyor of the "Mudder" and the "Big Mudder"... back when a sense of humor wasn't uncommon
Interesting. Around here, almost all riders will wave - HD, sportbikes, whatever.
On my bicycle I've been hit twice, once intentionally (Texas pickup), once accidentally (lost snowbird in...
Do they have to grow a tree for the lumber??
Walked past the bike in the garage a while back and noticed a weight laying on the floor next to the wheel. Just sitting there it fell off. Probably 750 miles on newly installed tires. Back to the...
I like the Max Lite. Put them in properly (sounds stupid but some pople don't.) I have worn the wax plugs mentioned and find them pretty much useless.
I just added HyperLites to the back of mine, didn't fool around with any other circuits. They work well and people give me noticeably more room at a stop.
Guy I know recently bought an F3 Limited. He took it to the dealer for an oil change and it was over $300.
Temporary spares have next to no tread and the walls are super thin. I check my car spare (pressure 60 psi!) frequently, and add air frequently. They lose pressure faster than the "real" tires, I...
That sounds kind of excessive for warranty claims in less than 30K....

If the wheel spins freely by hand, then the caliper is opening enough (at least sometimes). As for the squeal - is there still friction material on the pads, or are they down to metal-on-metal? Is it...
I was installing something on my car back when I was in college. I decided to buy the drill because the price would work out the same but then I would have a drill. 30 plus years later I still use...

Wow! Glad you are OK. Watch out for delayed effects - can take a while to manifest.
Wow, that looks like a serious crash. Glad you made it.
Maybe it IS a question of where he grips it.
lol
Yikes!
My grandfather bought a new Ford post-WW2 and it overheated consistently. The dealer discovered that there was no impeller in the water pump.
Reminds me of that old saying... Since most accidents happen within 5 miles of home, you'd be safer if you moved! :joke:
So.... I've seen a few F3 / F3-S for sale lately... and started wondering. Is there a "good year" for the F3? Is there a year to stay away from?
Please forgive me if there is already a thread....
Congratulations!
My wife bought a Toyota a coupe of years ago. Door sticker calls for 34 psi. After a couple of weeks of use, I decided to check the tires. I dunno what the dealer delivered it with, but the (cold)...
Thanks for providing the diagnosis and remedy.
Can-Am has a traveling demo program, I signed up online and got an hour-long demo (yes) on a new RT. If you have a motorcycle license (and recent riding experience) you're in.
A friend once pointed out that tires are about the only thing which can stop you and still be fixable. So I carry Dynaplugs, Aerostich compressor, and cell phone. I also have a tiny little jumper...
Yikes! That was exciting. Glad you are OK.
First oil change is crazy long in cars these days. The wife's Toyota had the first change (done by dealership) at 10,000 miles!! I almost couldn't bear it....
SO, who's your friendly local dealer? What part of Arizona?
