Coincidently, today I met up with the two gentlemen from SC that purchased my F3's in October of last year. Both had very good things to say about Ron and his work on their machines. They made the...
And if I were to add to a previous post, Ron is considered one of the "good" ones.
There are a few bad dealers and service departments, as well as "untrained" mechanics. There are a FEW good ones also, but unfortunately, they are far between. I have been a "lucky" Spyder owner...
I resemble that remark.
:agree: x 2 and will add an "Oh My." :roflblack:
A beautiful blue bird day today. Headed for 85 degrees, and the storms are gone from our area.
Over the years and seven Spyders I have used, Cardo, Sena, and Nolan n-comm.
My favorite of the bunch were the Sena units. They had mostly trouble free operation, slightly longer range, clarity...
RE: Manuals...BRP has had issues with manuals since day one. They do a lot of copy/paste from old manuals to probably save time. It is unfortunate that the "marketing" dept. is probably involved...
I always enjoy great scenery pictures. Happily, we have a lot of that where we are.
We got through the storms again. South of us, not so lucky.
Coming up on some partly cloudy days from Sat - Tue with 80's for temps. Looks like summer is coming.
A small warning. Once your spouse starts driving the F3, you are going to end up with the Ryker. But, I am guessing you alrady know that.
No ride preference given here.
But...whatever one you take going, take the OTHER ONE back. Then, you can make a choice based on your likes and dislikes the next time around. And, you get to see...
I purchased two F3L Spyders from iMoto in a two year period. I was pleased with everything in our transactions. They gave me a "fair" price for both my trades. They were delivered when promised...
As a former leather merchant, I had to think about this one. But, I got it. Getting too technical about grades was wrong for me.
08 GS was the first Spyder to hit the market. I had one and it was the first one sold to a customer in Alaska. The dealer snarfed the first two for himself and his wife.
That first one...
Thank you for posting about the dealership. It is good to know that there are still some "Good Ones" out there. :firstplace:
Beautiful days ahead. Today blue sky, sun, and 78 degrees. Very nice sittin on the front porch and lemonadin.
Once you hit Missouri coming South get off the interstate as quick as possible. Hwy 65 South from Springfield turns into a very scenic road all the way into and through Arkansas. It will bring your...
RE: Group riding...we did it for years. I belonged to a group from 2002 until about 2017. It was a multi brand group, (I introduced Spyders to them in 2008). We had weekly rides (Thursday's), and...
Buy the Ryker that you think that you will like best. Once wife gets to driving, she will eventually sit on the F3L it will become hers. Ask me how I know.
The Ryker will probably sound LOUDER due to the higher rpms. That is the only annoying part that you have to worry about.
The early Spyders had a very high rpm allowance. The did not wake up...
That is a very good price.
We have people from our area that ride mules and mule driven wagons by our place all the time. Gotta love rural Arkansas.
We even have a Mule, Kawasaki that is.
I replaced two drive belts over seven Spyders and 200,000 miles total. Both belts damaged were my fault. I managed to drive on rocks and rocks became imbedded in the Spyder belt on our 2009. The...
:oldpost:
This thread goes back to December 2021 and then one post in 2022 asking if the problem was ever solved. The OP has not been on site for a couple years.
70 degrees and blue skies. Looks like we get a reprieve from the bad weather for a couple days.
Our last day of bad weather for about a week. Yesterday, I stayed up during the early hours, watching the weather in my area. Two tornadoes doing damage about 75 miles North of here. That doppler...
YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. That's a great one. I love bikes with lots of torque. I was always a bit chicken to drive over 100 though. Like Clint used to say..."a man needs to...
 :firstplace:
And speaking of Triumph Rockets. Yes, I had to check those out. 2300 cc--triple three. I went to the dealer. Beautiful fire engine red. I thought, I could like this. ...
I have always been a very conservative rider.
