These are in very good condition. The guy I purchased the bike from put these on because he didn't like the black wheels. He only had the Spyder for 3 months because...
I still have these if anyone is interested.
I have a pair of chrome wheels from a 2014 RT. I'm sure they will fit other years/models. These wheels were on the Spyder when I purchased it, but also came with black wheels. I preferred the black...
We have a 2014 RT that we haul around in a self built 7x12 camper trailer/Spyder hauler. We like to boondock camp and that usually involves not so smooth dirt roads. Other than rocks getting stuck in...

Sorry it's been a while, but here are a couple photos that were requested of our home built Spyder hauler. Not the most detailed photos, but you get the idea. Started as just an...
Highway I wear helmet, jeans, and riding jacket year round. Country back roads helmet, jeans and depending on temp, t-shirt or riding jacket. Just running a mile or so to the store, whatever I have...
Just to give an update on our home built camper/Spyder hauler. It is finished and we took our first "long" trip with it. Went from Ohio to Door County Wisconsin. We were able to set up a "home base"...
I made the switch last August. While I do miss my two wheeler occasionally, there is no comparison if you ride two up like I do most of the time. Way more relaxing and comfortable on my Spyder RT.
This is our ultimate goal, to haul our Spyder, camp, then ride the area. We plane to build a 7x12 cargo trailer into a toy hauler.
They're not the handiest things to change, that's for sure.:gaah:
Installed LED headlights and fog lights.185157
Discovered that I have Magic Mirrors on my Spyder. Discovered while troubleshooting my fog light problem. It was a very pleasant surprise, since I was going to install them anyway. I've only...
Installed my volt meter/phone charger today. I know it's not much but it's something:ohyea:184667
Added a Battery Tender cable to my battery. Figured out where I'm going to add a USB charging port. And narrowed down my fog light issue to what I think are bad bulbs, everything else checks out.
Thanks to all of you guys input on my "rookie" Spyder questions, I narrowed my search and today I purchased a 2014 Can Am Spyder RT SE6.

According to the license plate, it looks like Texas.:dontknow:
Yes I saw this one. Don't think I could talk the wife into traveling from Ohio to Texas to look at it. :dontknow:
Thank you so much for that breakdown. Kind of seems like a "no brainer", providing I can find one at a reasonable price.
Thanks again for all the valuable info I'm getting from you folks.
Was this fix a free recall? Do you think I would still be able to get it after all this time if it was never done?
I posted a question earlier in the week about mileage on a 2014 RT and received a lot of wisdom form you guys. Well that turned out to be a manual and I want the Semi-Auto, so back to the search....
The Spyder I am looking at is a 2014 RT. It has 22,000 miles on it and that concerned me a bit. Your replies have put me more at ease. Now I hope he has good maintenance records.
Thanks a ton for...
I'm looking at getting a Spyder, ride a two wheeler at the moment. How many miles are too many when looking into purchasing a used Spyder?
