I got the wifi kit from xkglow, I have install 2 of them on different bikes in the last couple weeks. They are not difficult to install, but require a bit of planning the location of the LEDs.

No resistors, just tapped into the signal wires on the mirror. Seems to be the same frequency to me.

I did install led strip on the mirrors connected to the blinkers. The blue strips on the fenders are tied into the fender running lights.
