Question for the group.
Anyone with a RT SM6 with the Web Boards have trouble with the heel toe shifter getting stuck while changing gears? I have to lubricate the bushing every few months, even...
4000 miles and counting. Vibration is gone. Such a smoother ryde. Love this addition to my RT.
So glad Kathy is OK. Nice lesson for us all. Watch out for the crazy person.
Congratulations. I hope to get that many miles on mine. Only 81,000 to go. ;)
Same problem has happened again.
It does seem like the trailer needs to be grounded. A couple of members have recommended this.
My question is -- Exactly how do I ground the trailer to...
Yeah, but I can always get a Freedom and paint it Cognac. I understand others have done this.
I have a Lumina XL trailer that worked perfectly well with my 2012 RT.
Now with my new 2014 RT, I have blown 2 Can Am trailer wiring harnesses in a year. Dealer says it's because of after marker...
Looking to buy a Can Am trailer. Prefer Cognac to match my Spyder, but if you have one for sale, let me know what you have and we can consider.
I had Inspector Gadget boards and heel-toe shifter on my 2012 RT. I just finished installing a nice set of Web Boards with shifter on my 2014 RT.
You can't go wrong either way. Once you get a...
Thanks so much. This is exactly what I needed to see. I got the linkage set to where it should work. It's still rubbing a little on the black plastic of the Spyder, so Web Boards has suggested...
Question for the group, in case anyone happens to know this or can access it on their 2014 or 2015 RT SM6.
I would like to know what the dimension is between the rod eyes on the transmission...
We rode it Labor Day weekend, on Saturday, at 7:00 am. Only saw a few others each way.
Get out there first thing in the morning, and you're good. Do all the other area roads the rest of the day....
Congratulations on the sale. That's one hell of a deal. Great looking byke.
Looks awesome! How does one know if the sale applies to what they are wanting to buy?
I've recently had a set of Corbin passenger arm rests installed on my 2014 RT-S. After this was done, the passenger cannot hear the radio at all. It's like the arm rests have muffled the speakers...
Whatever works. Nice reason to start up the Old Fart Kart. :roflblack:
Does anyone happen to know the vendor's schedule? It may be Saturday morning until I can get there. Wanted to try to see a few of them.
Can't tell from the website schedule of events page.
Very nice! This is the one I would get; just not ready to make the leap yet.
On my previous 2012 RT, I had no problems until the month after the factory warranty expired. Threw some codes, and find that several sensors needed replacing. $50 deductible on the BEST warranty...
Remy, as in Remy Martin (cognac)
Go to the AmericaRidesMaps.com website. I purchased the complete set of maps for the whole area. Covers WV to North Georgia. Shows all the great roads in the area. Well worth the money.
Definitely ryde Hwy 28 from Deals Gap to Fontana Dam, and even further if time allows.
Also, a really nice road is Wayah Rd, just off Hwy 28. Google map it. Very nice mountain twisty with great...
Awesome looking ryde! Enjoy!
Glad you had a good time. I love the Parkway. That was one of my favorite Spyder vacations.
Got my alignment done at Honda of Winston-Salem. Excellent dealer - BRP Platinum Certified.
I did the Parkway over Memorial weekend last year, and although it was crowded, it's also a big place. No trouble at all getting behind slow traffic.
The wife and I did the Parkway tour last year on the Spyder. Took the trailer and camped along the way. We did about 125 miles a day. Took 4 days to do the whole thing. But we stopped at a bunch of...
I rode the Dragon and Hwy 28 to Fontana Dam last weekend. Did the Dragon at 7:00 am, before it got crowded. The road was much better than I expected. Very nice manageable curves that can be taken...
Keep us posted on your dealer recommendation. I have recently experienced the same problem.
I'm kind of wary about installing this kit myself, so I may be at my dealer's mercy. I sure don't want...
Yes, replaced the fuse, but it wasn't burnt.
The dealer installed the harnesses, all Can Am parts. All lights on Spyder work fine. Just a dead trailer.
