Add in "Your Spyder won't start because the shutoff switch is in the off position"
OUCH :yikes:
You amaze me and I hope to be able to persevere as well as you do when I get to the point that a wheel chair is necessary.
Welcome aboard. Glad to have you join us.
I was up in Conway yesterday and I'd say peak is about a week away South of the Notches. I didn't get North of the Kank, but it's still got a few more days to go thru there.
I've found that the "mushsroom" head plugs work best, but it takes a tool to insert then. Still, it doesn't take up much room, so that's what I carry. Add a small compressor and you're good to go. ...
John, I have not always agreed with all your posts, but I have enjoyed most of them. You have my kind of sense of humor and I will miss you if you do not post any more. We all know that you need a...
If I'm solo, I usually carry a Seal Line waterproof bag on the back seat to get some extra luggage space. I use ROK straps to hold it on and it snaps on and off pretty easy at night.
I've had a side case open while driving 3 times now. It was not the same case each time (once right , twice left). I haven't lost anything yet, but I did have to turn around and retrieve a bag...
I just can't see any reason to disregard the MFG recommendation on this issue. So I use anything at or above 91 and then just forget it and ride
:agree: Me too, I was out riding and then came back to this. :dontknow:
Way to go guys. It seems like the logical decision given that there are no real changes for 2015. I like your choice of colors too.
Lord knows I'm no expert on what the nanny will or will not accept as far as tires go. :dontknow: I just know that I'm completely happy with the 215/60/15 Hydroedge on the RT and will continue...
Jeez you miss a lot of "stuff" when you actually go out and ride that thing in the driveway. Took a day off and went to the mountains and look what happens :banghead:
I'm using the 23" vented BRP replacement on my 2014 RT and am quite happy with it. Down, it gives good air and up it gives decent protection.
:agree: with all that's been said and you guys already know my feelings on the subject. If it can't be discussed in a friendly way, I just get out of the conversation or avoid it all together. This...
It's a good fit on the Spyder for me. I ran it up thru Quebec last summer and it performed flawlessly, rain or shine. After I was happy, I went out and bought a second one so I'd have a "spare". ...
Yup, it's getting colder down this way too. We've already gone below freezing a couple of nights and the mornings are getting brisk. We're supposed to have a heat wave this weekend, but then back...
Smart move
:yikes: Glad you and yours are all ok and no damage
Good on you. Goes to prove the old adage about mind over matter. If you don't mind and you persevere, it don't matter. Glad to see you ride :2thumbs:
I'm going into the mountains of NH and VT to "leaf peep"
Hey, us guys on the silver ones know how to roll in comfort
It has nothing to do with gearing. With the advent of electronic throttles came the ability to program them. So eco mode is a combination of throttle response, timing changes, and other tweeks to...
These things take a LOT of time to work themselves thru the NHTSA. I would be surprised if you hear anything before next year :dontknow:
divide 8.7 by 1.7 and multiply by 5000 = 25,500 to zero tread
so....... another 15,000 to the wear bars ?????????
Been there - done that - got the scars to prove it - Put a Wing down at 50 mph. It was a real interesting few seconds there :yikes: but the gear took more of a beating than I did  Did not...
That's so subjective (what you look like riding the bike). I wear leather because I think it protects better than "nylon", but there's only so many different styles and colors you can get quality...
I don't know Bob, it doesn't look a whole lot different from what I wear except mine doesn't have the Canam logo plastered all over it and that stuff is probably not as good a quality as mine.
