This just happened to our 2011 Spyder. It turned out to be the battery.
Try boosting the battery when trying to start it. It worked for us. Than we had the battery replaced.

Look at the cost of the rental, then look at buying good riding gear? I would invest in riding gear and ride the spyder home. I would then have the gear next time it rains.

That's like driving in Mexico.

We have 2 2011 RT's (One SM5 & One SE5).
On the SM5 we have 38,000KM the SE5 we have 11000KM. The only problem was poor service from the local dealership.

We were looking for another RT for my wife. Just purchased one, 2011 RT S with 9400KM. Now I need to put a hitch on it so see can pull a little trailer.

Looking for a hitch for a 2011 RT S Spyder.

So paid extra to have clutch sent overnight from BRP. Guess what still hasn't made it.
I guess we shouldn't be surprised.
