Have that also and on my second pulley (a white one).
I would suspect it's rather related to somekind of harmonic vibration of the belt.
Maybe lowering the tension might help I've got mine set to...
Front of the Spyder was a little beat up mostly from going too fast over speed bumps.

I finally got Spyderpop's bumskid from Martin's shop (I'm located in Europe).

180 measured with the krikit, might try to lower that a bit and see if it gets better.
Had the old sprocket, a bit noisy but no whistling.
Had the Red Dust so I replaced it with the new white one.
Now I have a noticeable "swissh" sound which seems to be much louder than before.
...
Over 1500km/930mi later...
Checked the sprocket a couple of times markings seem to be at right place.
Might be me... Not sure what BRP did with this new sprocket but for me the previous...
I don't think there is any return spring for the F3 it seems it might be the switch failling...

Just noticed yesterday when I parked the F3 the brake light was on.
Seems it's not the switch but rather the mechanism that is sticking sometimes. Anything I should lubricate to avoid this?
...
OK ridden about 300km/186mi with the new sprocket and here are my thoughts.
Seems to shift quieter... just a little bit.
There's kind of a swoosh when coasting.
Didn't noticed any shudder.
...
Cleaned, lubed and torqued to recommended 111lb/ft (I'll still mark the sprocket and bolt to check if there's any movement).

Belt tension seems to not have changed and still at 180lb/ft...
Thanks!
It was 125Nm/92lb/ft but was increased recently to 150Nm/111lb/ft (on a TSB).
Is there any special alignment with the shaft it should have?
Can't see any markings on the shaft but the sprocket seems to have some markings.
So one month later it was finally delivered.

Now I just need some time to put all back in place.
Thanks for the help.
Interesting I'll check with my dealer if there are any updates for mine.
Also I think I'm gonna fill a bit more to see if it gets better.
Sorry forgot to mention, Amsoil Metric 10W40.
Still waiting for the new front sprocket, meanwhile I've noticed a shudder at take off that I believe I had not before my recent oil change.
It's not really noisy or bumpy (not sure even if I...
Have a 2018 F3-S (Euro model) and the Lamonster method worked with mine.
The trick should work with all Spyders with BUDS... I believe from 2019 and + the system has been upgraded to BUDS2 and...
Located in Europe also (Portugal).
I'm going with M-77 moly paste from Honda (let me known if you wish to know where I ordered it from) instead of the kluberpaste.
You'll need to replace the...
Took the old sprocket out... Thank God it went out nicely after applying a bit of WD-40.

Axle is good and the sprocket teeth's don't seem to be...
So still with the old failing sprocket... Done a short ride today to burn a bit of old fuel not before checking if there were any play on the pulley, which there wasn't.
While taking off on a...
Well ordered from my local BRP dealer here which told me they had to order from the factory.
Should have been delivered 30/04 but now they are saying 12/05 instead... Hope I haven't to wait a more...
Cleaned mines this Winter after 16000mi and 2 years, they were actually not that bad.

Thanks. I just ordered the Honda stuff... 1 pound of loctite just didn't made sense.
Now I'll have to wait everything to be delivered.
Oh that will never know as the paste BRP recommends seems to not have any.
For me now it's more a question of getting the right stuff at the right price.
Found LB 8012 and Honda M77 on ebay,...
LB8012 explictly says +65% in it's datasheet: https://www.werkenmetmerken.nl/docs/Loctite_LB_8012_TDS.pdf
Now if Honda M77 is Molykote M77 then I think it may have other issues as the datasheet...
So in terms of what should be applied we have:
Loctite LB8012 Moly Paste Anti-Seize Compound (or Loctite 51048/51049)
Kluberpaste 46 MR 401
Honda M77 (which replaced Honda M60) used for Honda...
Yes of course. I do not drive "aggressively" and would say 80% of time I don not shift down and let the transmission do it on its own.
Just ordered the new sprocket and bolt today so I guess I'll be doing it myself.
153€+14€ = 167€ or around $200... not cheap.
Looking for the Moly Paste and it's not easily available here......
We're just going out of lockdown here (Portugal, Western Europe), doing a little Spring maintenance and just found this...
