BTT was absorbed into Mahle. Mahle has an excellent website to search for replacement parts. That 54mm diameter BTT thermostat would be in the Mahle TX 1x 80D series of thermostats. Except it...

Try spinning the engine a bit faster. In my mountains I mostly stay in 4th with downshift to 3rd or 2nd as needed keeping the RPM between 4-7K. The 1330cc engine is just such a sweetie and it loves...
Along the lines BajaRon indicated, I observed a marked "knee" of about 5 psi drop at around 3K+ for both BRP and Lamonster products. This is a 90K Spyder in SoCal. Due to the age of the machine and...
Okay I gotta tug my forelock a little harder. I can do that ...:D
WRT to thread-locking compound, bad assumption on my part. Rereading the service manual, at the beginning of the Cooling System...
Thank you for this information -- not what I expected from other forum posts and reading service manual.
This bodes well the previous owner was conscientious in caring for your Spyder.
Now the big question is: 8 or 9 splines?
I'm betting on 8.
The McGard lug nuts will surprise you -- they are...
The lug nut openings of the PPA wheels, which I have (highly recommended) are much smaller than BRP wheels so the usual lug nut cannot be used (I tried, even with thin wall sockets). The McGard...
Peter is correct. There is a variety of splined lug nuts each requiring its unique socket, most of which are thin wall. For instance, the McGard lug nuts on my Spyder (highly recommended) have 8...
I recommend a color temperature of 3,000 to 3,500 Kelvin. Better distance for you and less glare for oncoming drivers. Higher color temperatures provide more light although shorter distance and...
Per my 2014 Service Manual it's 20AWG.
That would be all North America 2015 F3 models, which presumably yours is. Australia, Brazil, Europe and Japan weren't as fortunate.
It's a bit difficult to discern in your photos but I believe you have the 6-spoke 89 tooth rear sprocket which is the "sporty" F3 configuration.
Preview is your friend.
Just found some Spyder DTC information by r.s.wenzel aka member spyderCodes

Assuming your 2018 electrical system isn't much different than my 2014, the fog lights circuit is via the Load Shedding relay while the headlight circuit is separate. Do your heated grips work...
Some notes from my 2014 Service Manual:
PARKING BRAKE DOES NOT WORK
1. Faulty WPM module or wiring.
- Check if windshield works properly.
- Carry out a WPM MODULE SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY...
Thank you SS. From the OBD-II PIDs Wikepedia The Spyder's PIDs follow the style but not the content of "the standard OBD-II PIDs as defined by SAE J1979." Which is why
Two items for a successful...
ARtraveler demonstrated the wisdom of his years. Well-framed and lighted photographs will really help sell your Spyder.
Concur "wooden sheds."
That's 100% correct. If you accept the Spyder design is what it needs to be rather than what you want it to be they are a well-engineered machine that might be a bit time-consuming to work on but...
I'm with SS. U0155 (and water in the fuel) needs an explanation. We haven't reached the end of this saga.
Any explanation how the water entered the gas tank?
My Milwaukee Leather gauntlets are adequate when used with the Spyder's grip heaters. They have a scraper to clean your faceshield in foggy weather but the gloves soak up water in rainy weather. ...
Mike is right -- orange and underfill is bad for your waterpump seals, whereupon they leak orange fluid that maybe changes color as it passes through road grime etc on its way to your garage floor. ...
Dasmoetorhead -- didn't mean to put you off with stories of my sweaty body. It's me not the Roadcrafter. I'm just a sweater kind of guy (not for Hunter Thompson reasons). And as I said during...
I purchased my Roadcrafter Classic one-piece new four decades ago when I was commuting 100 miles/day from sea level to 3800ft elevation on my motorcycle (BMW K100). All-weather performance was the...

Missing CAN ID.
Blown fuse.
There is certainly is a lesson-learned for me here: if you are interested in upgrading the suspension of your Spyder, run your requirements past PMK. And then as always Search is your friend. Spend...
Dasmoetorhead -- I have and wear two, a Roadcrafter Classic one-piece and a Roadcrafter Classic two-piece. I wear the top-only of the two-piece when riding within the city (San Diego) and the...
Sanders -- impressive and useful information. Thanks. We really want to see that spring so try practicing posting photographs again, maybe with the assistance of a neighborhood kid. Please include...
Baja Ron offers (https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?23928-New-sponsor-here-for-Filters-amp-Helmets) and most people use the NGK CR7EIX Iridium which has a thread diameter of 10mm...
