Never mind...lol
Take out the word Spyder and just search 3.5mm to 7 pin din and a raft of cables pop up from like $10.
Worth buying one to see if it works ok at that price.

Would anyone know where I could get the round din connector to 3.5mm aux cable?
Tried the usual suspects like eBay but nothing atm.
Would work well enough for me on my 2014rt to just plug my phone...
Well Yamaha does have this Frank-N-Stein creation.......:roflblack:

Im going to give these a try on the front of my 2014 Spyder RT.
Unless anyone has thoughts otherwise?
...
Out of curiosity do Gainsville Ridenow have the same 10 year Spyder policy?
Just a quick update.
I finally found the time in my schedule to take my Spyder into Jacksonville Powersports to have a new rear tire fitted.
While there they showed me once the wheel was off that...
Unfortunately Ridenow were my nearest listed Spyder dealer and I made the mistake of going there, not to be repeated ever I assure you.
I do remember when this dealership used to be a Triumph...
If you were looking to purchase an over 5 year old Spyder from these people at Ridenow would you expect them to tell you that btw after you have bought it we will not work on it at all ever?
Im sure...
I did and everything is tight as...well you know what...lol
Think I am just going to stop overthinking it!
So with all of the above being said.....
Anyone here actually have used and can recommend a Spyder dealer in the NE Florida area..ish?
Thats about the conclusion I have come too...lol
Just going to enjoy the scenery!
I can see or feel zero play anywhere in the whole steering shaft, tie rod ends, etc areas.
Seems to be just at the bars, and it does appear to ride just fine, was doing 75mph on the interstate...
Yes I can now see it is a pretty involved job, and not one that is going to guarantee that I will address the problem if the steering stem nut is not loose...lol
Need to think about this one...
10 years I can sort of see with this worlds now built in obsolescence but 5 years??
That’s just plain wrong and I really had to work hard to keep my cool and just walk out of the shop…..
"Not much you can do other than take your business elsewhere and let others know so they can avoid an arrogant dealership. Sad..... Jim"
Exactly Jim
Which was really the main point of this...
This from brp..
Good day Kevin,
Thank you for taking the time to contact BRP and letting us know about your feedback.
Please note that every dealership is independent and are allowed to...
I did not want to be cynical myself but you could be right.
I would certainly hope it's not a case of because I did not buy it from them.
Right now they are selling a 2011,2013 and2015.
All of...
And I may well pursue but at least for now maybe anybody else who is NE Florida and peruses these threads might see this and think twice about taking their business to them.
I just sent BRP an email with the pertinent information, be interesting to see what they have to say....
So is this 10 year old policy not normal in other states then?
I was a little surprised to hear it myself
Read a few old threads back from 2014 or so and no real consensus at least to myself as to the exact method to remove the handlebars to check the steering nut for tightness.
My newly acquired 2014...
Beats me but at least in my area of NE Florida it seems to be the norm at the main Can Am dealers.
Either 10 years or 5 is disgraceful and not a way to earn any business.
Apologies if this is not the right place or even not allowed but I felt the need to share this as it is most disturbing.
This morning I visited my local dealer which is Ridenow Powersports, Blanding...
