Thank you all for your help!
I was away for a few days, so today I tried it again: A few sharp raps per Mike's suggestion, kind of hard because of limited space, then I tightened the bolt as far as...
Yes Sir, I did. The caliper's bolts were just as bad but I could get much better leverage and torque to get them out. Tomorrow I'm going to try removing that bolt with the caliper still on the trike,...
Am I ever frustrated... the amount of Loctite and Florida salty air corrosion made the removal of the bolt that holds the pads impossible.
I stopped before I rounded it off, what a pain. BRP seems...
Well...new shoes all around, the fronts came in sooner than expected.
After 30 miles or so of riding all appears to be well. I have to get used to the lower psi in the rear, it feels different but...
Thank you Peter, good information.
Where I ride it can get pretty hot and highway speeds of 80+ mph are not uncommon, so I'll start with 16 psi in the front and 18 in the rear.
I received the rear...
It appears I may get lucky:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BDTTTMJ4/?coliid=I1MGTL94B676NL&colid=2JERNHE7YW9UF&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it
The shop will mount them, no questions asked, I'm not buying the tires from them. I hadn't considered different tire sizes...the rear would be about 5% bigger in diameter and 5% narrower, good thing,...
That's disappointing, but that's how it goes. I plan to ride more frequently and was hoping for better numbers. I still think, and it's just my opinion, that the Kuhmo is probably a better tire...
At 8k as well?
It's time to change the original Kenda tires on my 2017 F3. They only have 8k miles but they are 7 years old and the rear tire is pretty much done: worn in the middle...
I'm going to get the Kuhmo...

Hope this helps. I modified the brake rod only. I was able to set the shifter rod to my...
Andrew, heatshrink tubing is decidedly a more elegant solution, however I had none in the garage when I had the adjustment just right, so 3 coats of paint made it look almost OEM.
Sorry about the late response. Yes, windshield is available.
Hi, is it still available? I sent you a PM but no luck.
I purchased the F3 with # 3 rods, soon after I switched to # 4 rods. That made it better but the height of the brake pedal never felt right.
Turns out the rods are hollow, so I cut my spare #3,...
2017 F3S manual.
I have a 2017 F3S, I recently installed a two up shock. My 2 cents: if you stay under 400 lbs or so and take it easy over bumps and dips the stock shock will do and you save a few bucks. That said,...
For sale: Blue Ridge windshield. NO HARDWARE. Windshield only, clear, nearly scratch free. $100.00 plus actual shipping costs from zip 32164
Stock rear shock for 2017 F3, 5500 miles. Nothing...
On the subject of noise...
When I ride with the full face helmet it's a pretty quiet ride, just a muffled stock exhaust rumble, no problem there. Once in a while I ride with a half helmet and a lot...
I look just the over the top of mine, took a few tries but it's working well. Once in while I find myself looking through it but it's not bad with very little distortion.
My wife never complained...
I'm 6'1" and installed one just like yours, what a difference: rode for about 60 miles at up to 90 mph( I know, sorry...), after some minor tweaking with the height and angle, it eliminated all the...
Thanks everyone, the pictures were very helpful.
I've decided to get an extension from eBay or Amazon as DGoebel did. I hope it'll perform as well for me. If it doesn't, I'll vent the screen, one of...
I wonder if any of you have experimented with windshield extensions.
I don't know what else to do; my F3 came with the Blue Ridge screen, which in my case provided no solution to helmet buffeting....
While on the subject: does anyone know if any vendor will be at Leesburg Bikefest to do alignments?
It runs from today till Sunday.
Thanks.
Good on you Woodswoman, thank you for the update.
Are the bags still available? I'm afraid I'm late, but you never know.
T.y.
Thank you PMK and everyone. I'll start looking for another facility, there are a few not too far. Edgewater would have been a short ride down 95.
PMK if you change your mind, let me know.
Just wondering if any of you have dealt lately with ROLO LLC in Edgewater, FL.
They are very close to me and I would like to have the F3 aligned, but...the thing is, I've emailed, called and texted...
Thank you!
Yes, still has the Kenda tires. I will try your suggestion and have laser aligned as soon as I can.
