I didn't know about this Thanks!
I have a crack in the coolant tank so I go online and find one from a Can-Am parts house I have used in the past. They have the tank but I noticed all the formed coolant hoses for the bike are not...
Hey Dave, Nice bike, I like the mods I can see.
Cheers
Sorry for your loss. Keep the bike, enjoy the memories, create some new ones!
Just thought I'd say hello since it's been a long time since I visited this forum. Spyder 452 is alive and well with about 25K miles. I made a few mods that were popular in the first few years but it...
I decided to purchase a 3 year extended warranty on the Spyder through Interstate when I bought the bike. I mentioned that my fuel gauge was intermittent when I had it in for 12K service last week. ...
Congrats! Hope to see you around Chandler.

I've use them too and they are much brighter than stock but no comparison to the HID's

I used 600 wet and painted with gloss black.
Great find. I checked mine today and they are both shot. I'll be going to the Honda shop to get these.
You can PM me for more information.

Check the date folks... It was last year.

I went to the event last year in Phoenix and it was great. This will be a fun event and if you can make go!

All summer long in 110+ and no overheating problems.

DPS unit and steering position sensor.
The stock headlight H7 bulbs are 55 watts each and most other bulbs are also 55 watt. I used the Osram Hyper Lights H7 which are 65 watts each and didn't have any issues. I wouldn't a higher...
The fender tip lights are not monitored and replacing them with LED's will work fine. I've been using them in mine for about a year now.

I'd say 10 ft is about right on the deactivation range for the remote. I hooked up the kill feature but the range is no where near 1/2 mile, I guess that is under ideal conditions. Best I got...
I started riding at the age of 8 and am 51 now. In high school I worked part time for the Kawasaki dealer in Rapid City, SD and got to ride many different motorcycles. Over the years I have owned...
There is life without DPS....
I don't understand.
Why don't you just get the defective DPS unit replaced? That's what a warranty is for.
Mine had to have one shim replaced at 6K. The cost was about $500 as I remember for the service.
Awsome jobe attaDude!!
Hey Everyone! Bryan here in Chandler.
I too removed the shock because it was lifting the left corner of the seat. It was on for about a month so I hope it flattens out given a little time. I just place the gas cap under rear portion of...
I looked at the schematic and the headlight circuit has a 30 amp fuse located under the seat. The wiring is 16AWG from the fuse to the headlights.
Bryan
I've got the schematic so I'll take a look at it tonight and let you know.

I've been using the Osram Hyper H7 65W in my Spyder with no issues and they are a big improvment over the standard H7 bulbs. I plan to go with HID when I have the extra cash.
Since light output is measured in Lumens why doesn't PIAA publish how much light energy they really put out in Lumens? I'd really like to know. Their website says they put out 110 watts of light but...
I would get it to your dealer and have the DPS checked out. I had a similar issue and it was a defective DPS although it did not throw any codes or give a DPS failure message. The dealer replaced...
