You don't say which year RT you have. Some are much worse 2-up than others. One thing nice about the sway bar is it not only enhances 2-up riding, it does so without creating a harsh 1-up ride....

Awesome! I am happy to get any feedback I can. I'm not saying car tires are a bad idea. The right car tire can work very well. The problem has been the dwindling supply in sizes that fit the Spyder....
I am sure you know this. But torque in increments. Actually, I hand torque with a 1/2" drive ratchet and then take it the rest of the way (in increments) to the finished amount. I skip a lug every...
Warped rotors
Warped Hub
Stretched Lug Threads
Broken lugs long term
Damaged contact area on the wheel
They most likely used an air or electric impact wrench to tighten them. It's not their...
I can't help you with a used component. But if you find that you, in fact, need one. I can probably save you some on a new one. Let me know if I can help. Hopefully, you find that you don't need a...
I may be able to save you some money. If you'd like me to give you a price quote, let me know. Part # 710002971?
I am really hoping they work out. I may be hoping too hard. We'll see...
There is a leaning curve coming off of 2 wheels. In the early days, many just gave up because no one realized that it was the rider more than the machine. The Spyder may seem twitchy and even...
I have been a big proponent of mounting car tires to Spyders from early on. Frankly, the OEM Kendas are atrocious. But I have found the same thing you mention to be true with some of the car tires...
Agreed. Anytime is a VERY GOOD time for a Canister-Ectomy on the 2008-2012 Spyders. Easy, cheap and might keep you from burning down...
I would add, correctly torqueing the front wheels in a multiple step process. Maybe a longshot. But eliminate the easy stuff first.
I think we are always on the same page. Just not necessarily on the same side of the same page... :yikes:
On one of my early oil changes I had a guy (who will remain nameless) help me. When I did my next oil change I discovered there was no copper washer on the engine drain plug. I went 6,500 miles that...
It doesn't matter so much who did it. Haters are haters regardless of any other attribute. They are featured on the news every evening.
I know it's hard. But get it fixed and let it go. Don't...
I think you will like it. It's cheap, easy to do, maintenance free and works great! Actually looks pretty cool too. But you can't see it with the panels on. A shame really.
I carry them...

You're going to be hard pressed to come up with a 20 year old Spyder. And if they are not Spyder certified, it doesn't count.
Not always true. The Delrin bushings I use in my Sway Bar Kits are a special composite plastic infused with a lubricant that never goes away. Well, never is a long time. But 'Never' in the context of...
Sounds like a likely issue. Or some kind of internal leak inside the fuel tank not allowing enough pressure to build. Let us know what you discover. Could even be a computer issue.
Just the usual. Check to be sure everything is clean, O-Ring, O-Ring seat on cap and filler tube. Make sure there are no nicks or cuts in the O-Ring. And, that the O-Ring is the proper size thickness...

100% True Synthetic. Very few lubricants can say this. It does make a difference.
Do it all the time. Like most everything in life, if done correctly, not a problem. Particularly handy when drag racing.... Not that I would do that kind of hooligan thing

The Ryker end links are about 1/2" longer than Spyder end links. Also, Spyder links have an 8mm bearing hole. Ryker links have a 6mm bearing hole. If the new links are the same length as the...
Welcome! Always room for One More!
I've been a Spyder Rider since January of 08. I'm still excited about it. Just wish I were 67 again!
Great job on the wraps. And congrats on doing your own work. You'll end up with a better job, done sooner, and costing a lot less!
Not sure if it makes all that much difference. I think it does...
I've got a set (Left and Right) of these BRP Front Spyder Wheels. This style came stock on the RSS, but will fit any Can-Am Spyder as all front wheel sizes are the same except for the early models...
The plastic links are a weak link in the system. However, if they are in good condition, they hold up fairly well. But if they are damaged at all, I would be concerned. They are most likely to fail...
