Yes I removed the mounting bracket. I will post it for $300 on the for sale page. That will pay part of a new back rest for the 2022 RTL

Yes I have pushed the latch with my finger and it will latch 8 out of ten times. It is clean and I have lubed it with Silicone several times. I will give compressed air a try. I am just about ready...
