At about 35,000 miles I had my cracked rear fender brackets replaced. This was the first test of my Western Service Contract extended warranty and they covered it without any hassle at all.
Question: Is it - Western Service Contract (WSC), accepted at all BRP dealerships?
They would be crazy not to. WSC pays the Dealer's full labor rate (BRP/BEST only pays the BRP defined flat rate)....
I went with the 4-year Western Service Contract (WSC) extended warranty for a few reasons: they cover more and cost less than BEST, it's easier for the dealer to get paid and there's no $50...

Over a dozen 150-200 mile rydes around northern California, and my regular 80-mile round trips to work.
Last Saturday, I assisted my dealer (California Speed-Sports) with the replacement of my DPS unit. The Recall information provided by BRP is very clear and comprehensive, allowing the whole operation...
AutoTriM Design (http://www.autotrimdesign.net/items_78165.html) offers 4 decal kits, not wraps. Really easy to apply
The first lasted about 17K miles, I'm ready for another now at 30K miles. Both times the center wore out first. I run 28psi, and can't remember the last time I did a burnout, but I do cruise over...
I've never had an issue with the SE5 transmission in my 2008 RS (GS back then). Crisp shifts, and does everything it's supposed to do without fail.
I have had no issues beyond normal wear and tear.
...by continuing to squeeze dealers on price you will wind up with nowhere to take your Spyder for service - or the service is going to be sub-standard because the dealer won't be able to invest in...
At the Red Carpet Ryde Owners event in L.A. last June, this woman won the most customized Spyder prize. I kinda like the Can-Am (race car) look.
But my 25K pin just arrived yesterday!
My first ryde was off the showroom floor in Conway, NH to my home in San Ramon, CA. I did it in 5 days, but did nothing but ryde and sleep. I wish I had taken my time, and had someone with me to...
Yesterday, May 16th, Twenty One Spyders rode up Mines Road in Livermore to have lunch at The Junction (a popular cycle/motorcycle bar & grill). I was towards the end of the line and it was quite...
...as long as it's not icy or miserable rain. The only time I drive my Mustang GT is when I need to haul something that can't be bungied to my Spyder (golf clubs, etc.)
I have the AutoTrim Design Flame graphics kit 2 on my Spyder since June '09 and they still look brand new. These decals are of high quality, fit perfectly and went on easily. The price isn't bad...
I just put the EVO sway bar on yesterday. Easy install, even with having to remove the nose. I have it set to the firm position using the inner bolt positions. I have the latest version of the bar...

Although my friends, upon first seeing the Spyder, all exclaimed "Geno, you are the Batman!" Wrong super hero, so I went with Spyderman. And as I was 55 at the time - Spyderman55.
...although I appreciate the design and features of the RT.
If I was going cross-country in 5 days again, I definately would want to do it on an RT.
Even though I bought my Spyder in New Hampshire (Thanks Profile Powersports), California Speed-Sports has been taking care of it for almost 2 years now. Excellent service and sales.
I got 14K on the fronts and 17K on the rear. I ryde pretty hard, with lots of freeway miles, but I don't do a lot of burnouts
I had the squeaky front brakes (replaced under warranty), a bad license plate light cable (replaced under warranty), and rough running in the 100+ degree California weather caused by the 1st steering...

If you haven't heard about it already, on Monday, November 23rd, the BRP Demo Tour arrives at California Speed-Sports in Livermore.
From 9am to 5pm, rain or shine, there will be five new 2010...
I've done everything the website says to do to let BRP know about my reaching 5K - I've done it twice in fact, and still no pin.
