I carry too but would only use deadly force if I thought my life was in danger. Also if someone stole my Spyder at gunpoint.... and obviously since they had the drop on me, I would let them take it, ...
The 2013/2014 STS and RS has the same bolt pattern as the 2013/2014 RT, so you might check and see if the BRP TRI AXIS adjustable handlebar will work.
I would be interested if in the Puget sound area.
Or...... you might want to buy a Can Am 622 trailer so you can haul a extra tire or two. If so, you might want to contact SL. member Murphy Brown, I hear she might be selling hers.
I agree on the Fluid Film, I spray down the undercarriage and suspension of my jeep with it when I switch out my summer tires over to winter tires, also use the WD40 version of the silicone lube spay...
I plan on being there too.
Yep, when they can't see it any more , all they can do is guesstimate on the high side.
How about 2x6s? same thing. 4x4s are even worse. even if a six pack of beer should fall on a can of Trufuel:yikes:...game over!
Be careful if storing a can of Trufuel in the frunk, the neck of the can will separate from the body of the can if bumped hard. I managed to do just that by accidently dropping a 20 inch section of a...
Try spraying belt dressing on the belt, if the squeal goes away, the belt needs to be adjusted or aligned.
Did you mean; Does it matter what year SPYDER the ethanol free gas is FOR? Up where I live the only ethanol free gas around here is 92 octane, which my 2013 RS-S seems to like.
Thanks, I will give it a shot, most of my riding is on back roads any way.
I have been thinking about trying 20 lbs. in the rear tire too, as light as my RS-S is, I would not think I need 30 lbs. of air in a tire of this size. Only problem is, I understand these Kenda ...
Don't know if that was addressed to me, if so I wasn't speaking to owners of burned-bikes but to others who have commented and posted pictures on this thread.
I noticed back at post #55 there are 4 pictures of Spyders on fire, the first three are clearly not 2013s, the 4th one I can't tell what year, but later on someone asks if all 4 spyders that burned...
Yes, I had the same kind of problems with mechanics working on my Corvairs, so I started doing my own work and later wound up working on other peoples Corvairs and just like the guy you worked with,...
Sorry, didn't mean to come across as being offended. Through the years I have heard all the stories about what's wrong about my Corvair and I'm sure I will be hearing more. Now that I have a 2013...
Jerbear, I googled "Corvette fires" and got the same kind of horror stories.
How did Corvairs get drug into this? I have owned Corvairs for 45+ years and never heard of any designed in flaws that caused them to catch on fire. I'm sure some have caught on fire because of poor...
Increase the Rotex twin to 150 hp with 6 speed transmission for the RS-S. Boost the RT three cylinder to 125 hp+.
Beautiful photos! Looks professional.
If you have the factory 622 trailer, I understand that they have a independent suspension, as opposed to a straight axle, so alignment could be a real problem getting both wheels pointing the same...
Yep, sure does. Also if you are mechanically inclined, you can do your first service yourself, I did, just keep records, If you want to check for updates, you can take it back to the dealer for a...
Civil disobedience.
I heard that the rescuers had to use over a gallon of KY jelly to get him freed.
My 2013 service manual states in the technical section to use XPS synthetic blend (summer blend) or a 5x40 motorcycle oil. (semi-synthetic (minimum) or synthetic) meeting the requirements API service...
I know on my 2013 RS-S if I casually upshift, I get a slight pause before the shift is complete. From what I have read in the past from other members here on Spyderlovers is that it is normal. If you...
My wife and I are also going to buy the 2015 RT-S. Only difference is we are keeping our 2013 RS-S so we can ride together, but on separate Spyders.
That's a great price! I bought mine a year ago and still owe $15,976. The fun my wife and I had riding last summer still made it worthwhile though.
