Are you using wheel chocks on the front? Is there enough room for this?
It it looks like there is not enough room for front wheel chocks. Is this correct?
I am thinking of buying a Droptail trailer to haul my 2016 F3-T. Is there anyone out there with experience with this trailer and a similar Spyder? What are the advantages and disadvantages? How well...
What is the asking price?
This Spyder was sold on eBay for $11,500.00
The item for sale is a 2013 Can-Am Spyder ST Limited, which I purchased new in March 2013. This Spyder has never been in an accident, nor has it ever been damaged in any similar way. It is in...
Has anyone tried to use the Fobo tire pressure gauge on their airbag (RT and F-3)? If so, what are the problems, and how did it turn out?
I have had both an RT and a F-3T. The F-3 has 1/2 of the storage capacity of the RT. Other than this, everything else favors the F-3. In my opinion, the F-3 is the best motorcycle BRP has made in...
When will the 2016 F-3 T become available in dealer's showrooms? Will the SE6 follow the SM6 by 4 to 6 weeks as has sometimes been the case in the past?
I have decided to buy a F-3 T. Now I must...
I have been very lucky with my Spyders with little of the nightmare stuff reported here on Spyderlovers. The 2009 GS had the power steering replaced under recall. It also had the water pump replaced....
Passed the 250,000 mile mark yesterday:
2008 GS SM5 = 36,500 miles
2009 GS SM5 = 116,700 miles
2011 RT SM5 = 53,600 miles
2013 STL SM5 = 43,300 miles
Total = 250,100 miles
First Spyder...

This 1937 Cord is apparently the inspiration for the 2015 Spyder. Notice the grill.
I run 30 psi on all three tires. I have been using car tires since 2008 (four Spyders) and have tried various inflation levels. There is no "correct" answer. Do what feels right.
The Lamonster garage is wonderous to behold. What a magnificent expression of creativity. This is a man-cave, combined with a commercial purpose, that every gear-head, man and woman, would want to...
Forget the valve adjustment until at least 50,000 - 60,000 miles or more. Even then it is likely no adjustment will be needed.
I have done this several times. Michigan and Florida have a reciprocity agreement. Michigan sends the tax it collects from you to Florida.

Early in 2008 I discovered that two of the three rear wheel bearings in my Spyder were made in China. The country of origin for the third one (double wide for the sprocket) was the U.S.A. I was not...
The drive belt is good for at least 100,000 miles. I had 116,000 on one of my Spyders when I sold it and the drive belt was still in very good condition. The belt is much the same as the one Harley...
Walt Hintz and Justin Hintz
Perfect choice!
My 2013 STL does not use any oil - none. My first three Spyders used oil in various amounts. This was to be expected. The STL appears to have a much different engine - tighter - I would guess.
Why...
Two-wheel motorcycle riders are conditioned to hug the tank with their knees. Obviously, this is not necessary on a Spyder. If you have a SE5 with the huge floorboards, you only have to move your...
I was never interested in a semi-automatic transmission on a motorcycle before I got the 2013 STL. This idea was inconceivable to my old Harley brain. It may be something genetic, just like it is...
I have a 2013 STL and I can tell you the changes are huge. I also have the floorboards. Yesterday, I was riding in 85 degree ambient temperature with no discomfort whatsoever - even though I was...
When you have the wheel off to change the tire, ask the dealer to change the wheel bearings and seals too. Bearings are cheap, labor is not.
I got a new 2013 Spyder ST Ltd. in early March. This is my fourth Spyder in five years (six model years) - 2008 GS SM5, 2009 GS SM5, 2011 RT SM5, 2013 ST SE5. There is one in each of BRP's three...
This is a picture of a trailer connector for the Spyder ST.65563 Does anyone know where I could buy one of these? I need a male connector for the cable going to the trailer from the hitch. It is not...
None of these posts give me a clue as to what event we are talking about. I don't know if it is the owners event or Lamont's BBQ. Help Please.
I agree! I just had the valve clearances inspected on my 2009 GS at 116,600 miles. Only the shims on the two exhaust valves on the rear cylinder needed to be replaced. The other six valves were still...
