This is not something I would recommend. The Garmin Zumo 2595 was made for automotive and not motorcycle use, thus does not have the weather proofing built into it, hence the price of the unit.

It has been a crazy 18 months to be away from the site. Headed out tomorrow to Spyders on the Bayou so if you are going to be there, I look forward to seeing you.
I will add my $0.02 in here. I find it best to go with the MC GPS due to the fact that it is waterproof, more rugged than the car and you can operate it with gloves on. The part about being in the...
I have tried to email you back as well as call the number you have provided. I responded to your PM via Spyderlovers.
I do all of my routes with Basecamp. The key is to have updated maps on both the computer you are working on as well as the GPS.
I do all of my routes with Garmin Basecamp. It is free from Garmin and works great.
BRP took over updating the list and you can get it directly from the BRP site:

Congrats!
Might want to put it on a trailer and take it to Winston-Salem or Knoxville. There are some good dealers in those areas. (From what I have been told.)
If there are any new models they wont be announced until late in the year.
You will have to remove the seat as well as the forward panel. Only 4 screws and 2 bolts to get to the rear panel. Once you have access to it, just unscrew it and there is a tab that will have to...
Thanks. They will be in the post today and I will PM you the tracking number.
They are great.
This is the only reason I switched was because of the video.
I switched over to the Sena 10c and I have a set (pair) of the Sena 20S for sale. I have had these since December and I have only installed one of the units for a short ride, the other stayed in the...
On the F3, the GPS power is on right side, under the small rear panel. You will have to remove the seats to be able to remove the panel. Make sure you check the polarity of the connector before you...
Thanks everyone. Again, this was just research and I don't know what will come of it.
When I got the 590 and handlebar mount for the F3 it came with everything needed, and it has the connector on the end. If you need a connector, PM me.
All, Just doing a little bit of research here. If you could please take 5 minutes and fill out this survey.

Working on some LED lights for the ST. Thoughts?

Thanks everyone.
This is what I have come up with.

The BRT Kits are available here: http://www.wiredux.com/spyder-rt-brt-lighting-kit/
The RT BRT kit is one I have been working on. It will be one www.wiredux.com soon.
can you post a picture of where you are trying to wire the LEDs into?
You can count me in as well.
I would double check your trailing ground wire. I was burning out modules when mine was not grounded correctly. after it was grounded the proper way never had another issue.
Congrats on the new ride. You will love it.
None of the Spyders I have had (2012/2014 RT) or currently have (2014 ST/2015 F3), have ever done this. I would keep an eye on it. Also, have it put on BUDS just to double check. May be an early...
