I have the Cal-Sic max high max width and it is the nearest thing to riding a RT as I have found.
I have on Craig's List http://pensacola.craigslist.org/mpo/5706482412.html a bypass and baffle.
Amen!
I have a monster cat bypass and baffle listed @ http://pensacola.craigslist.org/mpo/5706482412.html. Check it out.
The stock rear shock probably bottoms out with your weight! The factory heavy duty might work for you and the wife. [ my mech and I stood on the pegs and jumped up and down and could not make the...
I replaced my stock rear shock at about 2000 miles. Now pushing 4000 miles in the North GA mountains, 2 up -- I would say the replacement is working very well. Tauter ryde, better handling, with NO...
I had my dealer replace my rear shock with the BRP "2 up" shock. Item 1, I have never in more than 50 bikes replaced a shock -- not less in less than 2000 miles! Item 2, this is the shock the bike...
[QUOTE=vondalyn;1125651]I've also noticed that the price has gone up since I bought mine last year. I paid about $135 for both and then switched to NOT use the clamp because it looks nicer and I...
I have both the SHAD saddlebags and top box on my F3 ST [I know, they don't make one, so I did]. The saddlebags and top box will hold one or maybe two full face helmets [what would one do with...
I came from the RTS family as well. I tried the Calsci MH/WD shield and found I still got some buffeting. I changed to their HI/WD shield and love it. I think ex-RT folks will as well and at a...
Best I can tell, after warm up, the temperature reading has little relationship with ambient air temperature!

I know there are quite a few Spyders in the Pensacola, NWFL area. And wondered about interest in a Ryding Club?
Mine came with the upgrade kit. See next post for the solution.
I just got off the phone with Dan from Wiredux. He had returned my call just as I posted my problem. He suggested that I trim the insulation back from the tips of the LED leads and try that. I...
I'm having a problem [does not light up] with my Wiredux Brake, Running and Turn light kit. I tried the email address on my instruction sheet and it was rejected as "unknown". I tried their phone...
I mounted a set on my 2008 GS and have now installed them on my 2015 F3 S. Nice, sturdy set up. Just went to Bike Week and they did very well. I made a Walmart stop with my traveling gear and...
Anyone headed to Daytona for Bike Week? Any info on Spyder events, venders, demo rides, etc? I plan to be there 9-12. I hope to meet other Spyder owners and swap stories.
I am quite happy with my SHAD bags. Both saddlebags and top box will hold full face helmets. They remove quickly and the handle makes them just like a suit case to...
The F3T bags will not hold a full face helmet. My SHAD saddlebags do.
Lamount, will you have test pipes at Daytona?
I installed SHAD saddlebags on my F3 S [very similar to GIVI's]. A major advantage to me is each will take 2 full face helmets and they are quickly detachable. I've NEVER had a leakage problem.
Where did you acquire the mounting brackets for the GIVI saddle bags and top box? I had Shads on my GS and made my own mounts, but I am sure the company ones would work better.
I agree, I saw more Spyders today than I ever have seen in one day. I also noted that more ladies were riding their own Spyders and other bikes as well. The only Spyder I did not see was -- MINE. ...
That's what I got on my last tank using "real gas" on my '13!;)
Has anyone tried the front chin cover? What was your source? I've seen them advertised, until I decided to try one! :dontknow:
Having just spent 6 wks ridding my 13 RTS SE5 and enjoying the Blue Ridge area of the country, I must say I am much more impressed with it than I was on the FL flatlands. Plus with "real gas" I got...
I tried a universal GPS mount for my Drift camera and just had too much vibration for the stabilization circuit to handle. I'm still looking for a mount.
12 Grand difference for same equipment RTS SE transmissions, 1300 mile 2013 and "new" 2014 -- you got to be kidding! That was today's deal. The 2014 has a noisy engine and whizzing exhaust, my 2013...
