It's a nice day here in Albuquerque. I'm wanting to detail my Spyder. Is there anything I need to know?I'm thinking of using the same car wash solution that I use for my cars.

I purchased my 2008 SM5 with 22000 miles. I asked my local CAN AM dealer about the miles. They said the miles aren't bad for one of these machines. Nothing to worry about.
$3.24 at Costco on the west side of Albuquerque. :banghead:
I had my oil change at the Can Am dealer. $133 oil, filter and o ring. Im thinking I might tackle this his myself next time. The dealer recommends 4600 mile intervals.
In a group I leave it on the Spyder. When I ride alone I lock it up. :doorag:

AAA plus is needed for towing a motorcycle. They were handy after accident.
I've used all 3 grades of fuel. Mid grade seems to work best for me. I commute to work on my spyder averaging 30mpg. My worst mileage was riding into the wind 28 mpg.
I bought a 2008 Spyder in October. I'd like to meet other Spyder owners that want to ride. :spyder2:
I have thought about using the base out of the box. Getting a bunjie and tying it to the A frame.I bought a chest harness. I think it was less than $30.I plan on testing it out ASAP. :dontknow:
