Sir,
With all do respect as a Fire Arms Instructor and retired Military shooter, you are lucky that was not a hung round. If it was and you instantly opened the breach, simply you would be dead.

Do to military service In iraq I have found myself wheelchair bound. No boo hoo's I rode my ass off this summer and am loving every aspect of the spyder. To all those out there back in the wind,...

It's funny the whole "biker" deal. I remember when the average joe citizen wouldn't even think of owning a bike yet a Harley. Then came great marketing, a need to feel a machine makes you something...
It is great to see the number of "disabled" folks back in the wind because of this bike. I don't care what the purist want to call the spyder, we are ridin again!!! I really appreciate the sharing of...
Could you please tell me more about the performance air filter and o2 sensor. Thank you.
Powder coating is a great way to go.Yyou can get almost any color now and it is literally bullet proo. Sold the bike but had the frame powder coated and for 15 years you could just wipe the frame...
Interesting, in talking to my dealer today I learned that there is a hot market for Spyders in Russia. Never even thought of that market but i guess they have a great following over there.
What...
Sir sorry about the phone line. Some reason been getting bad connections out here. It has to be the relief cuts becuase I can not get the 90 to clamp at all. Sliding the gasket to the bottom of the...
The gasket must be all the way inside the 90 degree pipe to the ends of those relief cuts.
To ensure this during installation, the gasket goes in the end of the 90 degree pipe before slipping it...
Very strange....Slipped the new gasket on the bike up to the "round" deal.
Matched the head of the 90 and clamp so all where "stacked" on eachother.
Tightened down, double checked everything in...
Sir,
Truly stand up, thank you. I just have to be missing something. i am going to take apart, sit back and see what I am missing. Thank you for the offer to send a new pipe and gasket. I'll...
This man has been nothing but a gentleman from the start. I'm sure it is probably something I am doing wrong, just missing something. I'll pull it apart and look at things. BY ALL MEANS is it not a...
Hi Sir. I have got the everything tightened down but it still has a bit of a leak. ALmost seems as if gasket sealer is needed. I guess I'll send the 90 back you so you can double check. I've...
Hi Sir,
I bought the whole package from you. I am going to take a fresh look at it today and see what is going on. Probably on this side but if I still have troubles I'll send it back for you to...
Got it snugged down on the gasket but still have the leak. i understand it has some movement but with the leak I'm worried about my valves etc.
I'm clamped on the portion with slits as I knew...
Scratching my head on this one. I can tighten the clamp fully and still slide the 90 off. Have tried the pipe on the gasket different ways Unless I am really missing something the throat of the 90...
No i only have 15 miles on bike so the gasket was good. I put the end of the 90 right over the gasket...Should be a no brainer. Slid 90 over gasket and tighten. Feels almost as if the 90 is too big....
Got the gasket in place, short of taking an air wrench to her there is no way she iss going to seal. Got it as tight as I could, started it and big air leak not to mention abit of water from the...
Got my pipe in today from NMN....No matter how hard I tighten down the clamp (under the bike) connecting the 90 it just slids right off. This is not my first time putting on a pipe and this is a no...
Sorry to jump in but Bushtec is the way to go. You can't even tell it's there and have pulled it over 100mph with no worries. Not a habit, just wanted to see. I live in the mountains and while my...
All vehicles, that I know of, are suppose to use "regular" oil until broken in. Seems the synthetics are too slippery.....
If we can make oil why in the hell are we in Iraq!!!
Sir,
Thank you for the suggestion to go this route, which is what I did. I have a 2009 SM5 in my garage now and am researching shifters. I know pingle has been in the game awhile....
And yes...
Negative on the shifter. I am able to shift alot easier then thought do to foot placement. May not need to go with a shifter, just yet. What a neat machine...
