All of the above. Tread is rubbing the screws holding clearance light on on both sides. They are Vredestein Quatrac 5’s in 175/55 R15.
I had a set of those exact tires mounted for the front of my 2014 RT Limited. Would not fit under the fenders. Rub badly. Have to regroup now and find a size to fit. Love the look of the tires,...
5.11 Tactical ATAC 2.0 8" boots. Repels water, side zip and laces and a knife pocket on the side. Been wearing 5.11 Tactical for years. Best tactical boot I've ever worn.
I use the nelson-Rigg bag on a rear rack and love it.
I do have an RT Limited. Thanks for your he info. I will try it when I get off work today.
I don’t hear my compressor kick in in the last few days. Ride is rough. I adjust my suspension with the rocker switch to mid range. Drive for a while and look at the suspension gage again and it...
I let my piston extend fully by not removing brake cable. My bad. Pulled pads and used needle nosed pliers and pressure for 45 minutes with no progress and a very sore shoulder. Made due with a crude...
Can't forget " Slow Ride" by Foghat!
Sounds good. What do you need?
Anybody have the dimensions of the piston diameter and hole size and spread so I can make a tool to compress piston? The kits you get from the auto parts stores do not have one that fits.
I think I was unclear. The 19,000 miles was on two Kendas before I tried the Vee. As I said, I have a General coming. Will try that and see what happens. Thanks for all the input folks.
Got it apart. Bearings smooth as silk. Belt alignment was spot on. Everything but the tire looks great. The Vee tire was installed at a dealer. Have a General Altimax coming.
Good info guys. Thanks.
Agreed. Tire pressure in my opinion can't cause this wear. Skeptical about the tire itself doing it. My opinion is an alignment issue of some sort. Front to back alignment would cause scuffing. None...
No, it is to the cloth cord. I run the tire at 28 psi. Left side of the tire looks new. Is it possible awheel bearing is the cause?
Had a new rear tire installed about 1000 miles ago. Old tire was worn down, but evenly. Roughly 19,000 on a factory tire. The tire I had mounted and installed was a Vee Arachnid. Trailered the bike...
Thanks guys. I've jacked it up and spun the wheel with tire on and off. Can't feel anything. The chamfering sounds promising. Never thought about that. Used permatex brand "Disc Brake Quiet" on the...
I live between Kilgore and Henderson. Would be great to get with other riders close to here.
I changed the front brakes on my 2014 Spyer RT Limited. All looked good. Used EBC pads. Brakes work great. There is however a fast, slight clicking noise in the left front brake that varies with...
Rubber gussets good. Used some color cut and smeared on the inside with liner out. It looks like the seam above the fuse panel is where it is leaking. Dry and no color change between fuse box seam...
Anyone have a problem with rain water getting in the front trunk, especially when just sitting outside in the rain? Looking for answers on stopping the problem.
