Hi everybody. Gail and I were in Europe doing the "High Alps Tour" with Edelweiss Bike Travels. It was an awesome experience. We were two-up on a BMW R1200RT and had the chance to see some incredible...
Jane, I was very sorry to read about your injury. As you say, it really sucks that this happened to you right at the beginning of riding season. I hope you can get out on your Spyder soon, and before...
I have been with State Farm for many years. When I bought my Spyder, it was one of the first to be insured by State Farm here in Ontario. They classified it as a motorcycle, and the rates I paid were...
I agree with your wife. Winter is to be endured, not enjoyed. I am counting the days and hours until the last hideous flake of snow melts! :(
Bruce
You are a Road Warrior, Deb! Good on ya!
Bruce
Hi Deb! The Guzzi has been an awesome ride so far. I have about 12,000 km. on it now, and it has been a blast. I am going stir crazy right now with all the snow we have gotten. :gaah: I am champing...
Thanks, Scotty! I do check on the forums regularly and pop in from time to time.
Best regards,
Bruce
Murph is a great guy and as honest as the day is long. I dealt with him on numerous occasions when I owned my Kawasaki Concours. :2thumbs:
Cheers,
Bruce
Beautiful bike! :2thumbs:
:congrats:,
Bruce
And looking at the photos, it sure appears the point of origin was the right side. The burn pattern extends from the right and the damage is worse on the right side than on the left.
I'm glad you...
Hey Brian, my '99 Concours was as reliable as a stone axe! They are a great bike. The guy I sold it to at work is still happily riding it all over the continent.
Just to respond to the...
He is no better than - and is actually worse, since he was wearing the uniform that stands for serving and protecting the public - any other criminal. Hopefully he will end up behind bars where he...
I have a Nolan Trilogy and just installed the Scala Rider Q2 bluetooth communication system. The boom mic fits quite nicely with the chin bar in place and places the speaker just in front of my...
A very sad story indeed, yet another example of a vulnerable road user paying the price for the stupidity and inattention of someone else. Remember that as safe and stable as the Spyder is, all...
Hi Brian, just visiting. I log on fairly regularly to see what everyone is up to, but I don't post often anymore. There are some Moto Guzzi forums on which I am pretty active, though. Hope all is...
You bought your wife? Is she Russian? :D
Bruce
Great pics! Looks like the main highway is pretty well maintained down that way as well.
Bruce
Good stuff, Deb. I was told by my dealer when I bought my Spyder that proper tire pressure is critical for the Spyder to handle well, so your experience would tend to support that.
All kinds of snow...
Good to hear, Deb! Even with your full-face helmet on, I can see your smile in the photo. :2thumbs:
Bruce
Brian, you and Deb have been very patient throughout, but I can see your frustration in your latest posts. I really hope your dealership gets its act together and puts your Spyders back on the road...
Happy Belated Birthday wishes, Lamont!
Cheers,
Bruce
Here is a pic of another T-Rex, looks almost identical to the one posted in this string. This is a 2007 model.
Bruce
:agree: and so does BRP. They have taken pains from the beginning to say the Spyder Roadster is not a motorcycle. As one of the brochures I picked up early on states, "It resides beyond the...
Cool! I noticed the tail of the B-25 as well. There is really nothing to compare to the sound those radial engines make in full song, is there?
Bruce
Many Happy Returns, Scotty! If you're like me, you probably feel ambivalent about birthdays at this point, but I always tell myself it's better than the alternative! :ohyea:
Bruce
Congratulations Alex! Good luck with your Special Forces training.
Sarge, that is not a P-38. I believe it is an A-26 "Invader".
Bruce
:congrats: Hope you have a blast with it!
Bruce
Not taking sides one way or the other here, but anyone contemplating a trip to a region like this should be aware of all the possible risks. :popcorn:See the attached link to the Security Travel...
Just hang off a little bit in the direction of the turns. The cornering is what I found strangest with the Spyder at first.
I am amazed that you are able to have a test ride on the Rock at this...
