If I recall correctly, I had to pay an extra $20 (maybe 30) for a different brake rod. The pedal stays the same. My handlebar position was Standard, so there was no change there.

At 5' 8", you will probably get along just fine with the BR. I'm 5' 10", and there is just a hint of the wind that is coming from my BR, and that is at the very top of my FF helmet. Nothing severe...
