I have a 2015 RTS, but as a lay person I replaced my own sprocket (the painted white one] which I had to buy myself and only took about 50 min, start to finish. Not sure why it would take 2 1/2 hrs?

agree 100%
I don't even have my seat latch so it can latch, i disabled it with a zip tie. Not worried about gas theft. I also replaced the rear bolts with just a couple long pins with a clevis spring clips thru...
I've had most all of them over the years.......then went to the best for the last three bikes...... Russell Day Long.......done.
I love mine, got the biggest, tallest, widest with vent they make. Pricey, you all know the drill, if wifey ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. No more buffeting for her. Cheers to a great product!
JP 58, or trading for you could be when you get too much dust on the one you have now! wink wink :ohyea:
I got this one....let's see. Till you run out of gas.😁
I agree 100% with what jcthorne said.:agree:
Factory default reset, DOES NOT reset the firmware upgrade, just the user preferences and any radio stations you have put in. You can download whatever firmware number you want to try.
As others...
I've had them all on different bikes over the years, skip the rest and just get the best.....Russell Day Long.
safe riding!
Sorry Boxylady,
Good luck with your vibration unless you want to do something aftermarket, or sell it. BRP doesn't really give two s$!'s as they consider it "normal" now for years, and has done...
Happened to me one time, young couple taking pictures of their little cuttie pie sitting on my spyder. I asked what they thought they were doing, and why did they think they could just put someone on...
I just took a tie strap to the cable and hold the latch catch over and don't have to unlock anything. Took all of two minutes to do. Not the least bit worried about anybody stealing my gas or putting...
Cardo just announced an all voice activated packtalk, with the exception of volume it looks like. Time will tell, but move in the right direction, rather than having to take hands off bars all the...
I dress for whatever weather I'm riding in, shorts, tank top, crocks, sweats, jeans, mesh jacket, shoes, boots. Whatever.
I do however wear my helmet most the time, probably more so because I listen...
I like mine ok but if they would have made them so that the grip ends could also have rotated some they would have been perfect. By that I mean, when I get the bars where I want them for height and...
Do people really use their factory radio? I run mostly my phone, with sirius app, etc, or Ipod with my old tunes all thru my headset. Works great for me.
Not too good of a start for reviews on the Sena 20s Community group site (facebook) for 30k. Theres a test and video a guy did with them. Failed. Don't appear to have fixed our issues that we have...
Owned 3 on different bikes......tried all the rest and learned the hard way to go with the best. Call Russell, they will answer all questions. No issues with any of the three i had and have. Enjoy!
SpyerAnne01, not all 2015's need to be waited on to start.... My buddy and I bought one a couple weeks apart and we just get on and start it up and go. dave
Me and my buddy who also bought a 2015 RT SE6 with-in weeks of each other , both fast start from day one. We've posted about it quite a few times already when people were wondering on how to by-pass...
Ok everyone,
As the Op, here is what I've done and came to : I drove my buddy's and he drove mine. Almost identical as far as tires we put on, mileage, the way we ride....Blah..Blah.. Blah. So...
SpyderAnn01, thanks for the invite but after the last two trips I'll be home bound catching up for awhile.
Irvin48, I had Engelhart align and do the work. I've had faith in their work from previous...
Jaybros and Threewheels, Thanks for your response, suggestions. I have frt tire pressure at 18 psi, rear at 23 psi. New Fermoza's on front, Kumo on rear. Dealer said they reset steering angle with...
Hello members, I just had new tires, belt adjustment, laser alignment, tri-axis handlebars done on my 2015 RTS right before I left for Sturgis. I put on 2300 miles and can't say I'm impressed with...
I also used to buy a seat, sell a seat but last 3-4 bikes went straight to a Russell Day Long, can't beat them. YOMV of course.
Anyone had tri-axis handlebars or laser alignment done there? Good experience? Safe riding!
Bushrat,
The only thing I'd add to Tango's remarks would be to check out their warranty. While you do have to pay return shipping they almost guarantee you'll be a happy camper if you buy one, and...
Yikes!
Keep the money for a cushion and put it toward a day long custom seat. Over the years I've tried lots of cushions, different seats, always ended up with a Russell Day Long. Now I just get a Day Long...
