Hi All
It's been a while since I have been on this site. Busy enjoying life with my wife and the spyder, but I am ready to pull my hair out trying to get the air filter cover back on our 2010...
We have a 2010 RTS SE5. Got it in Feb of 2010 and have just over 25,000 miles on it with no issues. Last year made two round trips to TN from Florida. At some point in the future when we are pet free...
I have a 2010 RT-S and have very little problem with the turn signal switch. Takes some time to get the feel for it.
I don't believe it is broke as most are suggesting so BRP would not be inclined...
When mine needed adjustment a friend who has a spyder with correctly adjusted lights and I met at dunkin dounuts at night shined the lights on the wall from parking spaces side by side and I adjusted...
Here is what I would do. Check with dealers within say 100 miles for price on same model and year. If price is more than you were offered inform ins company. I would get prices from at least three...
When we got our frist :spyder2: my brother said to us " Welcome to the bottomless financial pit of motorcycling!" It is pretty much true but the fun is priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday, Scotty. May you enjoy many more years of health, happiness, and wind in your face!:)
Very nice. I like the powder coating.
Looks very nice. Clean installation. Where are the arm rests from??? Looking forward to seeing pics of the finished product.:2thumbs:
Sandy and I have so many blessings to be thankful for and we will take time to review them. A happy THANKSGIVING to all.
Sorry to hear of your troubles. Mine didn't come with those other things! 2010 RT-S SE5 23000 miles still have the same front tires. Good luck with GW. Hope it brings you many enjoyable miles.
At this point I would not believe anything the dealer told me until I could verify it to be true either from BRP themselves or from a consensus of this forum.
In my experience if you make the company feel they are part of the SOLUTION rather than the PROBLEM you will be farther ahead in resolving the issue. Otherwise you are just:banghead:.
I am confused! If the slim narrow crevasse was inaccessible how were you able to access it??????????????:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
Hi Holly and :welcome:

These are rigid mounted. I am working on a way for the left side to either swing out or tip up. Slow process.
No plans to make or sell them. They were fabricated using a vice and hammer and propane torch and a lot of trial and error. Had to buy the inexpensive welder from harbor freight and learn to use it....
Try this place but there are others

Hope this helps.
Here is what I did. Made from 16 ga and 1/8" steel and aluminum.
Happy to hear things are getting back to NORMAL. You can always ride the:spyder2: in your mind.
Thanks for the suggestions. I WILL explore other options.
I would like to do a couple of welds on the RT-S. Will this harm any electronic components? Should I disconnect any:dontknow: :helpsmilie:
RT-S delivered February 2010 21210 trouble free miles.:ohyea:
This is what I made for my RT_S SE5
We rode the tail of the dragon today. We arrived at deals gap around 4:00 pm to start the dragon. When we arrived there was a black RT-S their also. Didn't see who's it was and it was gone when we...
Left Cherokee NC through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park to Pigeon Forge TN. ABout 1 mile into the climb spyder goes into limp mode showing a engine and vss light. Engine light was on steady...
I also have the Kumho Ecsta and ride 2 up 90% of the time and would also like to know what pressure is a good starting point?:helpsmilie:
