Is anyone else stuck in back-order jail?

I bought my 2010 RTS new as soon as they were at the dealership. I have a matching BRP trailer that is sooo much better then the ones they make...

I have a trailer but never installed the lock (it was in storage). Now I want to intall it for a trip in two weeks but I'm concerned based on this thread. Is there a new lock or recall? I hate to try...

Has anyone tried a motorcycle jack on the RT? I'm looking for a good jack that will allow me to lift the Spyder to work on, detail, etc. I have a floor jack but can't lift the entire Spyder.
