I have the textured carbon fiber on mine, from the same vendor, and haven't experienced any of the problems listed here. Perhaps because my Spyder is white?
I have the exact same model Spyder and I bought mine from TricLED.
I've got the black ones on my Spyder (not in signature picture). I really like how they look!
Hey Mike, congratulations! I highly recommend going through the various websites of the sponsors on the home page here on SpyderLovers. They are ALL excellent vendors and will have everything...
If that's the bike then it's an RT and not a limited. The sticker on the side bag says as much. Plus it has the older front fenders. Also, I don't see the GPS attached.
No concerns about blocking your license plate or brake lights?

I can't picture in my head what you've done but have you tried that cable?
Yep, they come padded. I was surprised at how they weren't uncomfortable. They fit perfectly in the ear hole of my helmet.
I bought these and put them in my helmet on my old SMH-10's:

Websites go down, it happens. Also, I see the time you wrote your post and perhaps the website was down for maintenance.
Plastidip is the way to go. I did that to my chrome Can-Am emblems on the sides and it looks really good. I've been thinking about the same thing as you with those clear vents and may get around to...

Me too! Me too! Seriously, it was the ONLY way I was able to get those bolts out. Bonus: You can really get all of your frustrations out by pounding the living c#$p out of it!
Here's how I see it: If the Governor has declared a stay-at-home order except for essential trips (groceries, pharmacy, etc) then that means stay at home. Don't go out for a ride, just stay home.
I keep a large trash bag in my frunk and when I'm done for the day I lift the seat and slide it on. Voila! Seat cover for rain/dew while at a hotel. I realize it looks like crap, but I don't care...
I'm not a gambling man, but if I were I'd say that they'll both be canceled this year.
Advice? Don't be in a hurry. Set Google Maps so that it avoids interstates, tolls, and ferries. Enjoy the ride, listen to the wind, and smell the fresh air. 250 miles is a fun ride.
I use the same Meguiars products and it seems to put some "depth" into the painted plastic and give it a slight shine. I don't know that you'll ever get the same shine as you did with a different...
Go buy a Battery Tender Jr and plug one end into the wall and the other end into the wires hanging from your battery. Wait overnight. The battery will be charged and you can then use it for keeping...

Lamonster used to sell two magnet sets. Regardless, I would have just used two of the pairs and kept the top pin in place.
I bought the set with that uses two magnets on each side and the top post that came with the Spyder. No gap, no shaking.

I just ripped off the pieces that go around the ear. They fit in the helmet ear holes...
My wife and I communicate through our Sena's. We replaced the cheap speakers the Sena's came with and life has been grand since.
BRP doesn't sell millions of these machines and maybe they don't have the marketing budget to promote their product as much as everyone would like. Also, is the market for these reverse trykes...
I bought my first motorcycle (1972 Honda 250XL) when I was 16 years old. My mother freaked out because I didn't tell my folks I was going to do that. I just bought it from a friend one day, had a...
Google Maps for me. I don't have any paper maps, I use the internet to search out locations and stuff to do on the way to where I'm going, I plug in where I want to go, turn on my SMH-10R, and go.
Why would you want to carry your weapons on a Spyder? It's not really a very good vehicle when hunting seeing as it lacks proper storage and isn't designed to go four-wheeling.
Wow, you sure must do a LOT of driving in the rain!
If you're going to carry, carry on your person.
