I cannot get the spring to slide over the body of the strut. My strut is OEM.I double checked and I have the correct spring. I have used as much force as possible with the strut in place.
Any ideas?

Had mine done about a month ago. At first the dealer use the old "there is no recall on your VIN". Had to explain to him it is not a recall. After much discussion, he did the update but after waiting...
My wife just had the initial service done on her 2018 RT. As the dealer said, they installed the 20.80 software version and I now see distance to empty on the screen.
What else does the update...
Yes. I meant bourdan tube.
The pun intended was that you cannot corner like a demon and drink from a cup at the same time!
I want to correct my statement that my tires are run flats. They are not.
You are certainly correct about the ride Mike. The low aspect run flats are stiff and make the ride stiffer. Everything mechanical has its trade offs. A friend took the run flats off his wife's BMW...
I installed a set of custom Spyder Wheels on my F3-S at the Carolina Spyder Rally in Anderson SC on May 18, 2019 at 3797 miles. Before that rally, I had spoken to the owner, Donn Smith and confirmed...
I have always put cheap tire gauges in the same category as a cheap torque wrenches. You really think a torque wrench from Harbor Freight is going to give you accurate torque
My suggestion is...
The J & S jack looks identical to the Pitbull Motorcycle Lift made Springville, TN. ( www.pitbullmotorcyclelifts.com) Pierre @ CanAm Spyder Accessories sells them in Canada and has a video of one in...
You are correct. The F3-S, anyway, has a dual filament Halogen bulb. Not the peep eye set up as on the RT.
The headlight bulb has one filament. So, there is no bright and dim filament. Just a one filament bulb in one light fixture. To get the low and high beam effect, the light assembly has a metal "eye...
Thanks for the feedback Mike. One of my Sons was an engineer for Sylvania at one point in his career and he explained how the mechanism works. I'll bet I've jammed the mechanism with the wiring.

I have just finished installing Lamonster LED headlights in my wife's 2018 RT. When checking the lights I noticed the shutter on the right light is not working. It may not have been earlier, I don't...
[I am 6’4” and use a 24” Madstad on my ‘17 F3L. Have had a number of Madstads on many bikes, always very high quality. And they don’t look like a screen door on front of bike. Website doesn’t have...
I have a new 2018 F3-S and need a touring windshield so I can hear the headset in my helmet. I've looked at all the options (I think), except the Show Chrome windshield someone mentioned.
I've...
[I'm serious, on my 2018 F3 s I removed the 2 screws on the top of the sensor pulled the top off and then removed the plastic plunger and reassembled. Easily reversed if needed.]

[Just remove the plastic puck inside the sensor, no error codes, no restrictions]
HA!
I am quite surprised that no one has ever responded to this post. Maybe it is something everyone knows, except Newbies!
I had the same question since my recent purchase of a 2018 F3-S.

Sounds like Sygic is very limited. I've had a Garmin on my bikes for years. Love the integrated one on my BMW R1200GS. I'm thinking I'll put one on the Spyder. I like to do detailed routes in...
I'm taking delivery on my 2018 RT on Wednesday of this week. Have been trying to get a leg up on the difference between the Genius app and Sygic. My general impression is to leave Genius in the box. ...
