I can't believe they would put a piece of junk on a high end BRP product.
I guess they got a deal on them and it sounded like a good selling feature.
Just found mine about 6 months ago after...
What you can do is set it in the Eco mode and you will see where the BRP computer wants you to shift at.

I have a 2016 F3L SE6, the tach does not have a red zone for maximum RPM, anyone know what the max redline for this trike is.

I just took the shortest brake rod and drilled new holes in it to bring the pedal lower, but not too low that it would hit the foot board.
There is a topic on here, I'm not that great at the search...
I don't use Facebook.
Copy and paste everything from there to here.
I find downshifting with the paddle along with lightly using the brakes works best. I also stop at second gear and let the computer put it in first. Really saves on brake pads if you do it this way.
Thanks for the long description, this is exactly what I did. I can get my camera underneath and get some pics if needed.
All I did was purchase the shortest u-fit tie rod and drilled holes beside the 2 holes that were on it. Wish I would of took pics for you. There was also a post on here that I followed.
Good Morning from British Columbia.

No problems connecting from out of the US.
There is a video device called a boroscope that you can use through the drain hole to see where your problem might be.
