I got charged 1.5 hrs at $88/hr, plus they did a BUDS diagnostic just to check things out and look for any software/firmware upgrades. I considered that pretty reasonable. I brought in my own tire...
I'm took the easy way out. I bought an emergency cellphone charger battery that can charge my iphone up to three times. I put it in the small Hopnel tank bag I have that fits over the glove box. ...
I think you are thinking of the "Unwanted" Passenger Detection switch, otherwise known as the "Nag me one more time about my riding and you'll see what happens" switch.
I rode HD Fat Boy models for many years when I was younger and loved them. I now ride a Spyder and love it. However, I did have the opportunity to ride a HD Tri Glide Ultra Classic about a year...
I have put about 9K miles on my 2017 RTS. Today I was riding solo on a deserted twisty road today and decided to experiment a little.
In the past I noticed that I would "Pull" thru turns....pull...
In the past I have used the "Contact Form" for questions. You usually get an email back from them fairly quickly. Response times do vary though.

I had my Kanine rear tire installed today also. I rode about 70 miles home on it. Part of the trip was up to 85mph, and also went down some twisty roads at much lower speeds. I swear it rides...
I don't see anyone saying that. :dontknow: I see Gwolf, me, and others saying that actually riding the Spyder spins the transmission gears, which contain the same oil that you change when you do an...
I also drove mine around prior to me doing the oil change rather than just letting it idle to warm up. Folks told me that the oil in the engine crankcase doesn't know the difference, but it gets the...
:agree:
First off, I am not a Can Am "basher".....I love my 2017 RTS and it has been relatively trouble-free well worth the purchase price...miles of smiles. BUT....it is at the high-end luxury...
I wonder how many dealers will be able to do the retrofit correctly the first time.... given the new construction of the bike?
Also, if you read the comments below that YouTube video,...
I'm waiting for the weather to make the ride to get my rear Kanine installed.
Can I ask what inflation pressure you used for the rear?
Thanks, Hank
Ditto. I just did mine and it worked fine with the front wheels backed up onto ramps. I put a small scissor jack at a safe place I found closer to the rear just to level it out a few inches (not...
Stealing someone's Gremlin Bell off of their bike has to invoke the worst Karma I could possibly imagine on the thief. :yikes:
Lol, you would think after 3 years of riding the bike I would have noticed that..:p I guess I just mis-read the owners manual and thought you had to have the brake depressed no matter what. I just...
Within the past few weeks, I have noticed that I no longer need to have my foot on the brake to startup my Spyder (2017 RTS with about 9K miles)....even on the first start of the day. The computer...
I have held the opinion for some time now that the real weak link in BRP products is the horrible reputation for inconsistency in their licensed Dealer/Service network. I have never seen this with...
What inflation pressures did they use? Just curious. I'm getting my rear Kanine put on as soon as I get a break in the weather.
Hey, anything to make a new record page count and it's all good.
To remove a wheel with a new Kenda Kanine tire mounted on it, all you need is a BRP Tool # 593840DDX444920187WTF(*XX#!!!. ...
Cool. When you get the time can you take a pic of what you did? I was also thinking about a steel brace of some kind. Thanks.
Yeah, I just saw Lamonster Garage NBV Highway Peg installation video...where he said "Don't rest your feet on the fin!", and showed why. Oh well...I guess I have to wait till I have the bucks for...
I have a 2017 RTS. Today I went on a long beautiful 68 degree ride. My knee was bugging me a little, so I started putting my feet up onto the top of the lower black plastic wind deflector "thingy"...
To get a record page count, we would have to combine Kenda Tires with an Oil selection, something like..."I just changed my oil to generic lawnmower oil to add to my Kenda Tires, I can't wait to take...
I only bought it to see if we could get another 5-page long tire thread. :roflblack:
Cyclemax sells two diff models, both by Hopnel. They are both on this page:
https://cyclemax.com/can_am_spyder
One of them has a large map pocket attachment for a full size map.
Cool! Now you and I can both be the "dummies that bought that crappy new Kenda tire"....or we could be the "early adopters that finally found a nice Kenda replacement". Time will tell :dontknow:...
Lamonster Garage emailed me back. Apparently they are running the Kanines at 28-30 psi for rear, and 18-20 for the front. Same as the OEM Kenda's. Just FYI.
I emailed Lamonster Garage and asked them the question about inflation pressure guidance for the rear Kanine (for some reason I couldn't get them on the phone). I'll post any info I get from them...
That's awesome, thanks so much for the info! I looked up the Lamonster Facebook post and since it says they are also installing them, I'll call the techs there and ask them about inflation pressure. ...
